Not to sound like an ass, but what's the point of having a hiring section for Playerworld Administration if people who don't apply get the position? (Unless i he applied 'privately' or something)? No sarcasm, just honest curiosity.

I am not obligated to do open hiring so everyone understands. If we feel there is a candidate that would be a good choice then they can be selected that way. That doesn't mean that there are not other players out there that may also be good candidates but Xor is who we chose at this point in time.

We are always scouting for new people for the PWA team, not just when we're accepting applicants. When we believe to have found someone suitable, we will discuss it amongst ourselves and decide whether or not we need the additional hand to help. We decided that adding him could help us increase our efficiency as a team.

Generally the best way to apply for being a PWA is to always be on your best behavior and show outstanding people skills and an ability to deal with all player-related issues with a certain amount of finesse. That's not to say that we won't hire from the applications thread in the future though.

I really never heard of Xor before, and I doubt more than half of the community has heard of him before. The point of getting INVITED is because that person has helped out other people with Server issues, problems, Etc....

I have known Tig before he became a "Global" and I have known TSA before he became a global and I've known other "Globals" before they actually became "Globals". The point is that Xor hasen't been judged by the community yet to actually give their opinion on Xor being a "Global" member, and the only people that actually have judged Xor are the other Global Administrators.

What I think that should of been done is that someone should of have asked the community is Xor was good enough for this position.
