Hi, to all you zone people who still read the forums. I've been reading that
Gambet is making some very good contributions. I personally like them and I
support Gambet, I hope the best for you and SN. But I'm not posting this to
talk about his contributions. I'm here to talk to you about one thing. This is
the main reason updates are pointless. All you old an new zone players need
to TRY. You need to give zone a chance go after bases only you can change that.
No one else can. You just need to TRY zone. Give it a CHANCE. Have huge
wars at base 1 again. I mean those were fun days no body cared about
stats. Stats was just "oh nice", people never really cared if your k./d. was 2
you were good. People lammed yes, but it was a fun type of lame. You would
mine your base to stop you would have people specialize in classes into your
advantage even gold people were trial classes. People would talk for example
"We need 5 defenders, a couple miners, some rpg's, people at front lines,
some medics and backup for the front lines." I'm not saying be a nerd about
it but you need to put a effort into it. I do have one suggestion to tie in with
the others, I really do think Gambet's were great though. Anyway my
suggestion is to have more weapons to unlock at different ranks. Like storm
rifle is at soldier and you get different color light sabers. I also think you
should be able to upgrade your weapons to a max level. Like you can unlock
a r51 and upgrade it's speed and tile distant until it get's maxed and it cost
5000 zone money to do it and you only can do it every time you level up. Or
make it cost experience, and kind of make it like getting prestige in Call of
Duty. One last thing though always remember this when playing a game "The
game is only as good as the people who play it. A game is only as good as
the drive of the players."

I don't like the update the weapon idea, though it's true that mainly only the players can change how zone is played, but the majority would refuse since they are attached to the current style of playing.

except the weapon idea.
we all miss the ol'zone but with the current style it's hard to go back.
-Medic guy on the frontline in the old days. (? dont rmbr correctly but it was something about that line we playd.)

i did play GK before Zone so it was kinda natural to go back to GK when Zone got low playercount again... even if i'm not such good at GK.

you know, GK is harder to play then Zone

The only reason everyone rushed base 1 was because they knew that their main base would get raided and they would be pretty screwed if they couldn't use the base 1 teleporter in their main bunker to get away from the enemy. This is considered base laming, which people always complain about and want to see changed (hence the base spawning system that I'm almost done with), but here you guys are saying how much you miss those days. Besides, all of this is still possible the only thing missing is the playercount so obviously Zone needs changing from the past else it would be fully populated right now.

You guys really need to get your feelings worked out.

I think it also has to do with the quality of the average player. According to IXI (from when we last spoke), he was still the most dominant player by a significant margin.

Zone used to be more enjoyable, because if you removed a few players (such as StormYs), everybody was pretty equally balanced.

To add, having an ABUNDANCE in weaponry isn't always for the better.

As far as i know thats not true, we got b1 as soon as possible, then other people also swarmed out to the other bases to get all the bases ASAP, and win the game, so we could slaughter the other team while they were helplessly in a prison.

It's not fun to try Zone when the gameplay isn't fun anymore. So repetetive and boring.
