would be a decent servername. You will get classic status within 5 minutes with such a name. PRobably go gold by the end of the week

You do however have to log on and play, and its under development its not like its going to be a GK so many staff have tried using it as there playground and ruined it

Such typical responses. Hrm, i wonder what would happen if about 40+ people decided there going to play Atrius from now on. That playercount will grow, because lets face it, Graal is so boring now that you can force yourself to enjoy a server for petty reasons (omg look theres life on that server !)..x-x

Good luck TheJames, i can't speak for anyone else, but i sure as hell am tired of seeing the same exact servers for years now, with no new ones at all. I just don't find that normal. The only thing people can look foward to on Graal now and days is a better client version. yay. >.>

I'm not all gun-ho with the ideas' James. I'd much rather prefer the original modern concept, seeing as the concept never failed anyone who tried it, the lack of development and etc, did.

This idea will work flawlessly and get you to classic tab, if well-developed and completed. Then again, so would the initial modern concept, the one Era introduced.

Era is privileged, unlike UN and other classic-themed servers, it has no competition on that tab. As is Zodiac.

There is nothing wrong with creating a server like Era, competition is good, you actually can avoid the mistakes they made. (Tons of them).

All in all, don't change your concept due to fear of imitation. Do what you think will attract players, honestly Era players are eager to find another way out. If its in your will, give that to them. I am pretty damn-sure Opan will. If this War Concept is truly what you want, do it...but make sure you complete it. Thats where everyone falls short, completion.

I like the name, I personally think the name Era is pretty much irrelavent to what its become but players have become accustomed to it, so it works.

Good luck tho, to all the "haters" yelling "phail". Remember this, the more you fail, the more there is to obtain in your coming succession.

Hence why its under "construction" / development, I think he made that very clear. Illiteracy seems to be a growing problem in society nowadays, either that or lack of common sense.

Realistically, from that description of the server premise I would assume that the city would be to do busy defending itself from, you know, invaders to waste time fishing and other inane tasks.

I don't think Dresden was fine after the blitz, perhaps Atrius should be worked to realistically attain the premise?

I am in concurrence with several community members who believe there are plenty of "modern" servers. Although everyone is free to develop as they choose fit, there is a startling deficiency in originality and ingenuity amongst these server archetypes.

An interesting concept for Graal, but clearly short of the targert.
