Deposit locations

I always hear people suggesting that there needs to be a banking system. Then a random thought popped in my head.

What do you guys think about making a place for each Kingdom on main for the members to deposit items into a chest at there house. You could make the chest only hold a certain amount of items, and maybe cost some platinum each time you use it. Also you can own only one of these chests at a time. You could supply a shop with the supplies to make the chest, and tell them the lvl to put the chest in (your house.) The chest should not be able to be picked up, only be moved with the mouse.

A good reason for there to be a max limit on the chest is cause eventually you would have to go unfill it. would make things a little more interesting, and people would run around in bmode more often, cause they could store there items faster.

Also, platinum on graal needs more use. You should make more items to spend plat on in graal. It will make it more valuable.

I really don't see the point of a banking system because we have houses. In my opinion a banking system might work on main island if it could only store platinum or other coins but not items.

As far as I know Googi's banking system is still available. Just contact him in-game and he should be able to hook you up.

It's not too much of a banking system. You just wouldn't have to travel quite as much. The chest will fill up and you will have to unload it after it is full. Set a KG weight limit on the chest. You could also make the chest degrade over time and hold less weight unless you fix it somehow.

Just something to keep in mind. I've seen a lot of people suggest banking. This is a nerfed down version of banking. lol You still have to have a house to use it so, it will be member's only.

I still don't see the problem because I can get to my house on the pirate island and then back to main land within 5 minutes.

I agree with Felix on this one, if there would be a banking system i'd say it would only be to house silve, gold and platinum coins. If you want your items kept safe, there are playerhouses...

You can get back and forth to main in 5 mins if you weigh max weight? I still collect monster parts while killing them, if you clear out the hh's and rex dungeons you get pretty weighed down. One time I got a stack of parts so large in my house i got like 10k out of them (that's not including lord parts either).

There is probably better things to work on right now, but just somthing to keep in mind maybe as the game progresses and builds it's player count again.

Even with max weight it's not really a big problem.

You still use your house for storage then do you not? And houses have infinite capacity depending on what you're storing and how. PH's are fine as a large storage facility and are easily accessible via UD or boat, and if it's heavy things meant for the npc's, then you'll be glad to know there are shop npcs in almost every town, including Kingdom island towns... Only thing i can listen to about weight problems is plat, and i think a bank for that wouldn't be a bad idea.
