I apoligize. I am not trying to start a fight and I know you don't care about my earlier post. I was just curious if the creator(s) of Esteria were probably from Sylph Online too. When I went to Esteria for the first time, I was told about Sylph Online and that's how I knew about Sylph Online. I'm not sure if he was staff and I'm sorta new to Graal too and figuring stuff out for myself. Seems like the community here isn't really friendly.

I'm really sorry, I didnt want to be rude. We already lost our main GAT because of someone claiming we would steal graphics though, so it makes me angry kind of. Fact is, though, that our sprites exist since around October 2006. I also watched the process of the Sylph Online sprites, seen on several pixel boards, and as far as I remember, that was actually a bit later...

Edit: To point some things out, our head doesnt look near the same. The ears on our one have almost the same height as the eyes, the eyes are a bit taller, head is taller, our head actually has a chin...
Could do the same with the body, but I guess you get what I mean.

You cant really say the head shape is stolen, when i usually start chibi human sprites, this is a common shape that starts off. Nice rounded top, chibi mouth and the ears always look the same.

and those sylph sprites rock so much :o

Well Supernanny came up with a good minigame for us to use later (if we get around to it and if you scriptees wanna do it [an Crow]).

Has anyone played the game "Defend the Castle" where you're a castle and you build machines to kill invading... bugs and such? He want's to implant that in the game. Would be cool for someone if they were bored.

I already told SN that this would be a good idea, but I want to try to focus on the basic things right now, although I dont have that much time. I will add it to my to-do list to the very bottom I guess, because events are not that important yet. I also think its that kind of "event" that doesnt have to be run by a staff member and can be used all the time.

That's like me saying Pluffy is the most popular thing ever on Graal because "evryone asks me about it even the guys who are not registred in the forum". It's not because of Esteria but rather your own graphics skills that people outside of graal want you.

iam sure pluffy is the most popular thing on graal :P
but if you count visits as popularity there is no other server with that many visits in the whole forum
for sure you can come up with gk or zone with all this sub parts but there the people talk about god and the world not about the server himself
outside of graal my graphic skills are a joke at all :O

it's starting to get really annoying. o look at r pretty graphics but thats all we want to show you....

He also said that Delteria's work is quantity over quality which is lol.

I like work Angelu has done but he has kind of become a little Elk with less grammar skills it seems.

then again, this topic is almost 2 years old. Insomnia for example got almost 3k visits in almost 3 months, if it'd be as old as your thread, in comparison it'd have about 24k views.

Doubt it'll be "revived," I can see graal dying soon if there isn't some server to keep the players happy...But HEY! kind of expected when you create a game that allows a bunch of 14-15 year olds to Develop them lol.

Wow, I just read some of this stuff.
My earlier posts make me seem like such a hyper kid who can't do anything but talk and take some glory where there should be none. Sorry about that.

Esteria won't be revived, and I hope it doesn't. The only thing you'd have was graphics and levels and a few scripts (that didn't really do much) with no direction, and I don't have any of the files anymore (reformatted computer a few times) and I don't think there's any way to contact Nico now (he wouldn't have the files anyways, he never went on).
The server was one of the greatest quality-wise, but lacked completely in quantity.
I also wouldn't have taken a liking to any kind of scripting if it weren't for Crow teaching me some basic GS2 during this project. Angelu probably wouldn't have been as recognized if it weren't for Esteria.
The entire server was pretty much an experience to the whole staff, and I hope it stays that way and remain in the past.

Nothing on Esteria was stolen (although maybe people stole Esteria), so stop with that.
Also, quit bashing Angelu. He was one of the only active staff, at least that did anything pretty much. He's a great graphics designer, even if he doesn't believe it.

I read this thread a little... like 5 pages, and I loved what I saw.
Sad to see this server die, like all the other "good" or "showed-good-to-us" servers. *cough* Crystia *cough*
