Might be human logic but it doesn't mean its right. Zone is looking for workers who speak english quite well and I'm going to stop before I offend you or the other dutchies (minus dan).

I can't speak for the events team, but I know that the FAQ team is always open to hiring those who speak languages besides English. We want to hire those who don't speak English.

For reasons of simplicity I used the example of Dutch, but other groups can do the same thing. I know at times Zone had a large number of French speaking players.

The Dutch players don't have the best understanding of English, but they are able to help other Dutch players. The FAQs that don't speak English as a first language now have tags ex: Jasper - Dutch - (FAQ)

The events team can hire non English speaking ETs as well. All that is required is someone able to translate a bunch of messages. For example if we translate a message, we can prepared the message for player who speaks Dutch (Ex: <account> won the event!), they are able to insert the account name in those messages written before the event.

I admit there are some instances those messages won't work, but those messages can deal with a large part of not speaking English. Even though Dutch players don't speak English as a native language, with hard work the Dutch players can overcome those difficulties. Another advantage of hiring staff members able to speak different languages is in some instances the Dutch players are able to cover time zones that English speaking players are not able to cover.

FAQs give information to players. ETs host events, which realy you don't need to understand too much to participate. Why you're Temp-PA and not ET though is beyond me. You've been "Temp-PA" for quite a long time. Pretty sure their rights are barely different.

@SN: Yes you have advantages but you also have disadvantages and Zone doesn't have players who are timid. If they can't understand what a staff member is saying they will mouth off at the person or complain really heavily. This tends to lead to staff complaining to higher staff to have a person locked or even lock the person themself. It would be good to have staff who can speak english (as well as their language) and yes other languages but the primary language spoken on graal is english. If you want to have different divisions thats nice but be ready for the backlash that will follow.

@Revo: I wasn't pwned. You might want to learn what that means. It wasn't an argument between me and SN it was merely me speaking my mind and him replying.

The threads been around for about a month, it's possible he could of forgot.. I guess.

And back to the subject...

I would still like to see Jasper get ET, he's been temp-pa for quite a bit now. I think around 5-4 months. He's improved on hosting a LOT and deserves a chance in my opinion.

The player count isn't the ETs fault, they are really good ETs just the development side of the server sucks.

Why are therer never big events anymore, now it 1 this weekend last time ( IT WAS EASTER ZOMG) We also had only 1 event, I don't relly think you guys want to get a higher playercount/

Events don't give the server a permanent playercount. Only a temporary one.

Less events are being hosted due to the lack of playercount. Zones playercount hardly reaches 30. Everyone should be happy their getting 1 big event/week.

Everyone was happy getting one big event per month, sometimes more then a month. The server's failing playercount is because of the community, development and lack of advertisement, and since no one wants to play a 2d gun game, they'd much rather move on with their lives or simply play 3d gun games

like what I'm doing.

School never really had much to do with the playercount, honestly people still found time to play during weekends. It was only effected on weekdays.

Only 3 ETs atm isn't enough I think.

And I never see Shadow hosting, only Pimp and Supernanny, but many times on a time when i'm not online, and also much other players.

So 2 active ETs is enough for Zone ?

I pay for this game but it only gets worse and worse..
Atleast make it fun for the players who still spent money and time on this game, if you stop hosting its not weird that more and more people quit.

To come to Jesse's aide here. If there just isn't the playercount then why hire more ET's? It won't change anything.

People just want a chance for being ET. That way they will be ET if the server ever gets back on its feet.

In response to the school claims, doesn't the playercount usually drop during the summer and everyone says it is because people are on vacation? Then when school starts everyone says the playercount has gone done because school is starting. When the playercount drops during the spring it is blamed on spring break. It just seems like a cycle of the playercount rising and falling to me.

I wonder if the graal.us site has the statistics.

Increase the number of ETs and you increase the number of events hosted. Something which I don't want to happen at the moment as it shouldn't with the current PHAIL playercount.
