What makes this server worth buying gold for?

Since it's impossible to be able to effectively test servers out as a "trial", what would make someone want to upgrade to try out GK?

1) This server is listed under "Gold" section so to unlock the full capability of what you can do you need to upgrade to gold.

2) Trial Island gives you a decent taste of what there is out there without giving you way too much.

3) You, like others are asking for way too much for trials. Its obvious that they don't want this turning into another Zone (where the trials run rampant and don't upgrade). Although Tig has mentioned that they working on something to make it more trial friendly.

You Sir, needs to learn how to read. He asked what makes it worth it to upgrade, as in, what makes this server so much fun?

GK is already much better to play as a trial, you can play in events now, observer mode was removed. The limits are not being able to go over level 10, not being able to use boats or travelling to any kingdom islands. But playing as trial you can totally see most of the game.

I'll just add that you still gain exp after level 10 but only get the levels after you upgrade to gold.

Base-level, right?
Skill levels can pass 10, but your base level (level displayed in your profile) will not go higher than 10.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

I think all skills are capped at 10 or 20 too, Pat complained to me about them.

Well... GK in a nutshell.
A wasted chance of creating a RPG Playerworld has turned into a buggy, unbalanced monster.
While you will start with nearly nothing and will have a hard life collecting diamonds and items, a small group of older players will run around with a damn load of not- craft and dropable event or kingdom items, making it hard for anyone to really get started.

Get used on doing a lot (collecting diamonds, mining for diamonds) of work, for finally receiving acceptable items (with trading them with other players against your diamonds).

You don't need any expensive/rare items to "get started".

Look at the playercount. Since Tig came, we've been getting more players. These guys have to start somewhere. It obvious that you're just too lazy to actually start

To be honest GK isn't really a good game, if they simplified stuffs like the lvling part that really takes ages added different monsters and themes instead of just the main grass theme (like the halloween theme place that was pretty nice) also dungeons that might have some classic zelda puzzle solving and a boss at the end that could drop something else then intestines like most other monsters do (maybe weapons, armor and rare scolls) ;O

Also a better shop system would be nice so you don't have to buy random stuffs until you get what you want, and the weight thing is so annoying... like walking in slow motion just because you likes to collect items, same thing with hills.
The food part is also annoying, food should just heal if your injured or something.

Or am I missing something? Maybe you guys know something that I don't but when I played I had to do the same dungeon over and over and over again to be able to lvl it was not fun.

there isn't even observer mode anymore on gk, jeez
