Need Help

Need help with this. Obviously I didn't proportionate things right. Wings look like coming off its neck.

Not sure how to angel the view right. Draw more of the underbelly and hind legs kind of show underneath or show more of the back/spine behind its head?

Yea, suppose to be. Never added it because it doesn't look right when I do.

I think that helps a lot, Tig. Wings need tilted forward more and the proportions look better the way you stretched it.

When you first had it, the wings were sprouting out of the neck x.x

Tig definetely helped along fixing that a bit.

If it's standing on it's legs, I don't think it needs to be stretched out, but...

the shoulders should be separated more, and the head needs to be brought down lower a bit - putting it between the shoulders. then show more of the top of the skull, maybe a portion of the neck. On the top of the image make sure to show the tail going all the way back, and then the wings...well, we should be seeing the top of the wings, not the underside.

Thats just what I would do, you may be going for something different.

Oops I'm late to class. I'll sketch out what I mean for you later

I started playing with it

And I'm out of time again.

Out of curiosity, did you form the color pallet from scratch?

I'll make sure to do that next time with anything I make if I use someone's template. Didn't know it was an unspoken code.

And alarid did it perfectly

And the design is from scratch, palette is all I used.

I didn't recognize the pallete, but it seems exceptionally good. Unnaturally good for here, so it threw up a flag for me. I wasn't directly accusing him of getting the colors elsewhere, but I figured I would ask. He could have come up with them on his own.

Galdor, out of nowhere :O I was going to try find and get a hold of you for a couple months but I couldn't find your website...

Nice edit
Yeah, the wings are hard. It's odd how difficult they're being...

I think the two on the right are closest to capturing it. But...still not quite...
