With the shape of it..
Did you want the side crystals to look like they were jutting straight out from the side? As it is they look like they're coming forward from behind the seat back. It's subtle, the lines from the edges oconverging in the center of each crystal (the lines making it look like it comes to a point) just need to be inverted to be pointing towards the point, and not the base. (I'm very confusing...I know... sorry ^_^;;
The top crystal form...well..ah.. that one's all wrong The perspective of it is all off. I would suggest making it look more like a slab instead of attempting a 6 sided crystaline form if you intend to stay with the current size, otherwise you have to imagine what such crystal would look like when viewed from above, not straight on horizontally.

With the coloring of it...
There is no depth to this chair. Everything is almost the same color and light level, the only cues we have to that are the outlines layed out. It needs more contrast put in the right places.

Give me some time and I'll see what I can do with it

That's what I thought at first, but... it's tough to tell.

I wound up getting stranded for a while in front of a computer on school, but I left my flash drive at home. I had some time to try my hand at this, but now I must get back to other things.

I'll finish it ... sometime.

Unfortunately the top is looking more like rocks than crystals

It's getting there. I'm not done with the bottom yet, and i need to refine that frost effect that's going on. Once I do that I think I'll apply the white frost to spots up by the cystal form of the throne

On a side note, I deem this throne the Seat of Lord Sonic
or maybe those hedghog enemies from Seiken Densetsu...
