Approving Guilds
This has gotten ridiculous. Can you approve the guilds that have reached 10 members already? Appoint an active guild admin already.

I have become annoyed at the slowness of approving guilds as well. Someone needs to be appointed to check the site once a day and approve guild with 10 or more members.

They can't be approved automatically for one main reason. Inappropriate or copyrighted names.

Have a filter designed to catch the profane names. If a couple slip through you can easily delete them and improve the filter's functionality. 10 members needed to make a guild, this has been how its been since I got gold in 06 and I'm sure it was like this before in 04 and beyond.

Anyway Good luck Tig your the new person approving guilds correct?

Some server's have Global Guilds disabled. Make sure the server you're trying to use it on doesn't have them disabled (Servers such as Era and Zodiac have them disabled).

hmm, well last I heard from Ibonic about guilds, PreOK meant that the administrator has given their approval, but the system hasn't yet registered it as an Active Global Guild.

Polcher, for that I apologise for my previous post, I stupidly read "Preok" thinking that was the name of your guild (Pronouncing it as "Pre-Ock"). I would assume give it around 24 hours or so to move itself into an Active list via the scripts that control it, and if there's any other trouble throw Tig a Forum PM.
