Question (help): Permanant lag?

Over the course of the past month or so, I have continually seen "killed by *Logic," yet I cannot even see his player character move. I see his actual body, but when I go to attack it, no damage is received, and shortly after I am bombarded by bullets that I cannot even see.

It seems that I am the only one who experiences this, but why?

Your not the only one, I also have this.

His body stays in the door way, yet I see my gang members fighting him, yet I cant see him at ALL x.x

I think it has to do with the UDP button being checked or not in the f3 general options.

Yeah you have to check/uncheck "don't use udp for data packages" or "use fixed ports for UDP"

I had this issue years ago with players on Classic, and all I had to do was disable UDP.

Era is one of the most laggy server guys

So if the server lag and a player lag by itself (by downloading or anything else), then it may turn into holy lag, and you can't do anything.

I guess it's related to the player that you can't see, because if you can't see only one player, then it's not from you, but better from that laggy hole.

I don't lag at all. There's some server lag, but it's very temporary and only because someone is doing backups or messing with the server.

Guesses are it's an internet problem. What I do is that I close all other internet dependent programs (AIM, Limewire, other video games, the internet, etc) and if you're still not good call your ISP.

You just need to check or uncheck the UDP option

should work instantly.
