My uncle died on my Grandmother's birthday.
What a great birthday present to give your mum, eh?
As for you, Darlene, losing a loved one is never easy. I'm a pretty neuteral guy in real life but I never take deaths easily. A very good friend of mine passed away last week after a long battle against cancer. It struck me hard because I had to work on the day of his retirement party and hadn't had a chance to talk to him since then.
The thought "I never got to say goodbye" wouldn't stop going through my head... It's amazing just how much it tore me apart.
Take some time off Graal. This is a time you need to be with your friends and family.
Although I hardly knew MG, I am sure he was an amazing person and that the world was made better just by the fact that he lived in it. It is no doubt hard to believe he's actually gone, after having been together for so long...
I felt the same when Art passed on, but the memories of the great times we had together keep him alive in my heart. Wherever Art and MG are, I hope they meet one another. Something tells me they'd get along great.
Best of luck; may your future hold more joy than pain.
