Basically the artist does not take into account where his light source is coming from, and therefore makes the centered areas of the graphic very light and gradually makes it darker the closer to the edge it gets. This creates an effect which makes it look like it is made out of pillows and is therefore referred to pillow shading.

It's a basic nooby GFXer thing, just a bad habit that has to be broke.

Why did you put a "Holiday Tree with a chain" on that weapon? I don't think pine trees are common for weapon materials. You just edited your plasma-axe thinggy and copy-pasted your old stuff all over it.

Well that's kind of hard, seeing as the 'Candy Cane' is the answer. It's like asking someone "Hey, you have to tell me the answer to 2+2. However, you can't use the word 'Four' in your response".

Red and white are traditional christmas colors paired together, as are red and green, green and white, etc..

I put the waves in there assuming that they could be faded out somewhat like this. Kind of like the blaster rays

I was trying to make a point, I'm surprised you didn't notice.

Candy Canes are related to Christmas. Those are already found in Zone. I'm hinting to the graphic artists to be more creative, as there is quite a bit to do with Christmas which isn't found in Zone.
