Currently is Iricia best planet, followed to spar.
My REAL fav planet is gwars, but if theres no (Guild) vs Server game noone comes and plays.
Near noone plays the funny planets anymore, and at iricia I can build some bunkers with boxes.

Its rounds can last for an indefinite amount of time, whereas something like Deathmatch restarts after a time limit or when 1 person is left. Alpha is 10 times more fun, but it has kind of faded into the background of the overly popular spar rooms on the same dropship.

My old version of the dropship had Alpha as the map that would predominantly come to your attention over the sparring rooms. If I had a little help from someone it would have been even better because if you died on Alpha, you'd basically spawn right next to the teleport to get quickly back into the action instead of having to trudge all the way up from the entry docks, through the corridor and then to the Alpha teleports.

Bunker has most quality by far - if we speak about level style, effects quality and the helicopter transport. The gameplay might be ready for some fixing again but still, it's nice if there are some players

Arctic is (should really say was) the best because back in 2004 it had the best mix of gameplay. It had the base capturing but also the vast open space which was used for sparring. It had bases which, if you faught hard enough, you could lame for some time before the other team got the advantage again.

There really was competition to capture base 1, so if you're into the assault and defend style of gameplay that was an option too.

The tileset was different from any other planet and it was just a good experience.

I do think that my fondest memories were the good ol' base 1 raids. I mean, getting into fights with friends on Alpha was a blast (Tench with his pipebombs haha..) and God bless the days when you could kill teammates with grenades...

But do any of you remember that awesome feeling you got when you cleared out base 1 with a good friend?

Or that "I AM THE BEST" rush you get when you cleared out a noob infested base 1? I mean, like 30 of them in there and you took them all out with your appirces. Not a lot of people can go with me on this one, but for those of you who can, high five xD

yes bunker is a brilliant planet, except for 2 things. helicopters and ....no players.

I did not say with doubleshots, because doubleshots were not always around back then. Appirces were the weapons of the elite back then.

Plus, I never used doubleshot and neither did Jo or my old mates like Arbiter (I remember meeting him on Alpha, loved that kid), Anubis, Shadox, Touya, Jin, Ray (with his DH18s), Ace, Tro, juice, IXI, Jar Jar (known to you all as Typhoon, rykuz, Cor (THE COR CROSSBOW CAN NEVER BE DENIED!), Milky, Venom, Cassy(the only real female Zone player), Storm, Riley, BeyondYourDistance, Siwin (and his flamethrower), DDC and the list goes on. Jeez, I wish I was half as popular in real life as I was in Old Zone. I have met some amazing people on Graal and I love them all (you know who you are <3). Although I'll admit some oldbies like jkool666 I never really hung out with much in Old Zone, which is weird.

Oh, and Towely with his aprippers...what a champ.

I was lolling because he thought it had the best level design. The level design itself is okish, but the level quality is not too good.

I never 'laughed' and 'sneered' about bunker, I said it would probably end up like the other planets which are basically dead weight. For the first few days/weeks it would have a ton of players on it, but eventually people would get bored and head back to Iricia, like they always do. I said it would be incomparable to Iricia's 'might', or so. Was I wrong?

People aren't afraid to try new things, Iricia is just the superior planet, plain and simple. It has better level design (Nice wide open spaces, but not so much so that the map feels a bit empty, whereas on the other hand bunker can sometimes feel cramped), better level quality, better gameplay (Judging by the playercount), better classes, a better dropship and a better name. The only problem with Iricia is all of the laming, which is in some sort of vicious circle. People get lamed, they get mad for being lamed, so they try to lame the other person's base and the games continue like this.

I never said that. I didn't think it would hold its own against Iricia. It was nice to take a risk with the gameplay, and actually pull it off, but unfortunately Iricia prevailed once again.

The only thing I really hate about bunker is the stupid idea of using helicopters.
