I'm pretty sure if Era were to become independent and become it's own game it would have more players than Graal all together. Like I said, if games like LOLRUNESCAPE and Club Penguin have more players than Graal, then anything has a chance. Era is waaaay too limited on Graal.

That doesn't make sense "if games like ......." You mean successful games?

I agree though if Era went independent I think it would have a larger playerbase.

Being on a unsuccessful game, like Graal, doesn't really help the chances for games with good concepts, like Era, to become successful.

I was using those games as an example because IMO those games are whack. Yet they have 100x more players than Graal will ever have, which makes Graal look like a failed game; which it is.

Someone who has played since 2001. Who are you? Actually, I don't give a **** so don't even bother. Sorry to say but Graal is indeed a FAILED game. Any game that can't budge over 500 players is nothing more than a flash arcade game. This is hardly even considered an MMO. What kind of game charges money for in-game trading cards and development tools even when their population is smaller than a college lecture room. Call me what you want but no matter what you try to say to defend your precious Graal, it's always going to be a screw up in my eyes.

And don't even give me the "LOL Y DO U PLAY" **** cause it's repetitive as Graal's lack of creativity. I'm barely even on anymore due to the fact of the playercount gradually dropping. I come on every now and then to see if Era has accomplished anything or to see if any of my ideas came to past. But with the constant interference of globals, it just going to be the same cycle every new management.

Stage 1:
New manager is hired.

Stage 2:
Player's criticism.

Stage 3:
Globals are alerted.

Stage 4:
Replacement.

/repeat x4

Same **** different manager.

I agree in some ways.. I remember when Stefan has logged into Doomsday asking for Tifa and wow the only time she wasn't on was that day so he then asked for the next admin as in co-owner which at the time there wasn't any so i had to took it upon myself and speak with him.. He simple said the server needs to be paid for or it would be simply shut down....The end and he logged.

Since then graal player count has fall badly even after we did pay for Doomsday we lost alot of people cause the server had to pay a fee which we though that our regular players would get a break but not it wasn't enough players had to pay a fee as well... It's not like anyone is allowed to use GK tileset/items graphics we still had to use the Zelda theme... Now why would anyone pay for something that was ripped?

As years goes along we seen changes on servers..ect Graphics where changed a bit since the zelda theme was annoying and yet the players count has drop.

Now it's a battle between UN/ Zodica/Era for playercount one day u would see Era on top the next day is UN and after Zodiac.. Other players worlds that trys these same theme so they also to can get in the game Fail...

PWA are suppose to help out issues with other playerworlds only one who been doing that so far alot before he was PWA was Ts-Admin . Bell helps also but doesn't mean the chick don't have a real life.. Where is Houndini log on era and u would find...

Pm him and never get a respond unless OMG someone says they gonna hax era..

The system which is implemented for graal pay system also shows we don't get the help we need... Some servers goes into development and when in time and in need of help it fails reason so cause one person cannot pay for everyone funds...As in workers and players who wants in on the server.. The best thing i even seen on graal system is...

Trying logging on rc with a classic/trial on one of these dev servers it says..

You need a gold subscription to log into rc.

More like You need to spend money to work on this server and even if it doesn't work of to well TRY again... so now we pay money to do work which has been as issue in the past... Yes most of the old players like myself do try to keep our faith in graal.. But the new generation is not going to be tempted that easly.....

I mean just google.com and type in Free mmorpg.. There's games in 3d with good story good backgrounds that players would rather play... Graal is still a 2d mmo... which hasn't even reach the peek of a new development... Yes Stefan and unix need money to run Graal but isn't there another way around this? I mean i don't think a lobster cost that much to eat everyday :-p

That's great because I honestly don't care what you think of this game LOL.

From what I've spectated over the years...

No, globals are not this simple minded. Players will cry and complain (honestly most are idiots and globals are well aware of this) but globals won't outright take direct action. They will sit back and watch, seeing if the manager is actually doing something wrong or if the problem stems from elsewhere.

Era's biggest issue with staff is that the playerbase is inexperienced. These people mostly play Era and don't really hop around to other servers. From what I've seen most of them have little to no staff experience and finding a quality developer from the pool of gangstas and thugs is a real feat.

The PWA may never be there when you want them to be, but they're far from stupid.

They shoulda put Era on iPhone instead of Zone.. I've never even played Era much. I would say I've played Zone much more. But I think I would prefer Era on iPhone. Especially due to the RPG-element, as oppose to just join-and-kill. I could be sitting around at wherever I need to be, away from home, on my iPhone (which I plan to buy just for Graal), and use some free time to accumulate Era monies doing whatever it is you do on Era to accumulate money. To me, that's a much more casual level of gaming, and I think that's why servers like G2k1, GK, and Era have succeeded in the past. Where as in the past servers like UN and N-Pulse (at least originally or a long time ago) have seemed to be more about PKing and sparring. And if there is casual gameplay, it's just pointless (no real goal).

Anyways, go Era! I hope to play it some day. I heard it has lots of resets, and each time I hear about it, I want to jump in and play.
