Old House in the Woods

Another one! I rushed the effects of the fire and stuff, so ya... don't give that too much thought. I thought I'd try my hand at something without cliffs for a change.

Nice but add some darkness and creepy looking fog around it

I'll have to do that later :P I don't think I have much time so I just posted what I have. I was thinking of doing a dark effect and light coming from the canopy and such later. Would really set the mood... but more importantly, this is about the level as well

I love your tree style, it's quite good.

The dirt road seems to fit quite nicely here, good job on that.

I think the detail is better, but the tileset's shade of green just makes the whole grass look plain. Your water needs detailing, even if there's no logic in deep water there.

Overall I'd give it a 4.5/10 for what it is. Good layout, plain and simple.

Oh ya! My internet was out, and I didn't have the tileset I needed handy... here's a fix to that since I know a lot of people don't like that grass...

One qualm I have about your tree style is, if a tree is split I expect by default that I can walk through it as it would have a purpose to being split. I wouldn't be able to walk through any of those split trees, and that would irritate the life out of me if it was on a server.

alcatis is on a distinguished road
If you add fog and a darkness effect to the first one with the one colored grass it will actually look kinda scary :O

Here's one with some crappy filters and stuff I threw together in photoshop.

Sorry, had to jpeg it... PNG was over 1mb.
