i Think that we should add creatures to certain worlds where some people play but not alot. this way people can get kills even when like 4 people are on. idk i think its a good idea. its my first one. i dont do gfx so if u think its a good idea then u can attempt at some graphics... obviously these creatures would roam freely and would have weapons...they might wield bluepistols so they arent completely helpless...idk. gimme ur thoughts.

I think the only problem with this, is that the fact that Zone's mainly a PvP server, and that adding creatures/active npcs of any sort into the mix somewhere would cause a bit of a disturbance. I don't think that it's a bad idea, it's just that it would require a lot of work in several areas, especially scripting. Although, I do suppose we could edit the bot scripts a bit, and maybe get something out of that? It would still be harder than that, though, as the currect bot functions aren't all that great. (For example, they can't even shoot diagnolly. )

Besides causing a lot of work, zone would become more like the other servers where people would rather kill monsters than specialize in PvP. There are many pros and cons to it, but I think that this could indeed have more pros. I guess its not quite the same as slashing idlly at a walking potato as when you're shooting up hostile alien beasts with big, futuristic guns on a desolate planet.
No, it's not the same, due to the fact that you cannot eat an alien with a hard carapace, as you can a walking potato. (Eww, raw potato. )

Oh, and another thing, forgot to add. I think the creatures shouldn't have the same weapons that we do, except if they're very advanced humanoids or something. They should have melee attacks or natural ranged attacks, like a mandible grab & toss or head-on charge, or a barbed venom spike that would launch off the tail of a scorpid creature of sorts.

we could set them in a spar kinda way with more then 4 players and the aliens come in when only one guy is left. kinda like a 4-way spar then aliens come in and fight the survivor...make it so the players cant face the aliens without first proving they are worthy by killing 3 other players...

gimme a reason crono...i think we could make this work....especially along side a camo-dense forest planet with no radar... this could be sweet...aliens that pop up out of nowhere....just working with the idea...i think it was blazeingonix who suggested it...

Aliens I can live with but not NPC aliens. Should be humans vs aliens and both sides should be controllable by players. Zone is strictly a PvP server with the exception of the spar bots. Wouldn't want that changed anyday.

yes a new alien class. but the players who choose it have to dress a certain way and would be able to attk anyone on any team at any time... therefore if ur alien class on sweep fleet, u can attk other sweep fleet members,storm rider members, but not other aliens... there should be a set number of aliens allowed in game at a certain time. and they would require a whole new team as well... there weapon set should be something like; JP, binoculars,Cp, flagwhite. gasgrenades, flamebomb, and pipebomb. dh18, appripers, kv9. stormrifle, LP, EP, and erbreamer. ice cannon, mortar, and chaingun. plasmasabre, and electron.....this is just an idea so reply back with some feedback.

Ok i have to stop you right there.....attack anyone..this will be heavily abused for sure. if this requires a new team then you don't need to worry about the attack anyone. We can make it so Alien class isn't allowed on storm or sweep and a new spawn base can be introduced.

I think this could be more of a events world then anything.

i think that could work... it could replace Zone Wars. becase i think that Zone Wars has become ***... no offence. but yea an alien side and a human side... the aliens would get the mechs cuz they would look better on mechs than humans would... uhhh...but then aliens wouldnt have sabre? idk... brainstorm a little!

I agree entirely with Crono: No creatures or NPCs asides from the spar bot(s). Zone is strictly a Player versus Player server.

I rarely play Zone but I think it would be pretty cool to see a single/co-op mode that you can gain standard items and money from to use in PvP.

It would give players something to do on it when the player count is low.

What do I know though? ;P

It was a struggle to get them to upload Zone Wars PERIOD, Crono... You could try talking to Dan or Stefan and see what happens but I don't guarantee much. They have the worst case of A.D.D....they have so much on their minds and they go from project to project.

But you can make it a whole bunch of aliens/creatures running around and who ever kills the most of them wins

I can't see NPCs on Zone, it is PvP. Now a cool idea is actually allowing players to be the creatures, as in events and such where ETs, can change a certain player into said Creature, allowing them to use its abilities, and fighting the players.

perhaps theer should be like darkside bots and darkside bots on each teams base on zone wars...the only objective of this bots would be to protect...this could be nice...

The speeders aren't there anymore I believe. The issue is the Darkside is extremely overpowered lol.
