GMAP NPCs

Hi

is there a way to have other showimgs/npcs in general working while not on the same level?(but visible on gmap)

So e.g. i have a light effect, but when i run over to the other level(on gmap) it stops working

any way to fix that?

Nope, this has existed for a long time if I recall.. quite annoying tho

I doubt it, because it's Graal hiding any images that aren't on screen to keep slow down low(no need to display images not in use). It just doesn't detect well.

Did you try an image index between 0 and 200? I dont even know if that works, but it looks like it somehow does with Era's ladders.

Try setting the shape on serverside.

I'm not sure exactly what you want, but could you use putnpcs, and then somehow check to see if somehow the putnpc got cleared, and if it did, remake it?

It's detecting the size of a gani (the images displayed in the gani), but when you display stuff with showimg/findimg that is far outside the npcs shape then they are not shown when the npc itself is not visible.

No, I don't think there is a way around this
