Well then, "everyone" is wrong because I've always used it online and it works just fine. I would like to know who "everyone" is and who told them that.

And another thing, there is no reason for loadmap to be just for offline considering:

Which invalidates any reason for loadmap being offline only if this method exists. This method is actually better since you don't have to bother having the script in the level.

I would recommend using this.name instead of just 'name' I had a case where using that actually fixed an odd bug which I believe was with the engine itself.
