Looking for a Decent server

ok guys i go by the name Felk*(monolord)
you may have herd or no of me as a Developer
i had quit for a year or so but am now back and steaming for a good server to work on,,
but when i say a good server i mean a good server
not one of those servers that you see go dead/inactive a week after purchase
not a serve rwith corrupt staff but a server i can actually get some work done on
i may not be the best Developer but i am active and do take my developer work personally

Post some information about yourself; Age, location, first languge, previous servers/work you've done, and people who are able to verify that.

Then e-mail some Level, Gfx, and sample scripts to [email protected].

As for previous Servers
i have worked on alot of the Servers of graal
i have Been Deving for around 4 years if that changes anything and as for emailing you samples what is it for?

1. I assume your below the age of 18, since its usually not a problem with anyone else.
2. Saying ''I've worked on alot of servers of graal'' doesn't help me at all. I want to know your legit and not some kid trying to get a staff spot and **** around.
3. As I previously stated, I want to see samples to see your legit and not just making up bull.


If it bothers you too much, then forget it. I don't see why its such a big issue, unless your making up stuff.

There's nothing anyone can do with your age and location... though I don't see why location is needed(time zone is important, though). Either way, there's no reason you should fear posting your age and timezone.
Second, there's no reason you should fear stuff being stolen. Your stuff is going to be stolen, it sucks, but you can't hide all your work in a tucked corner in the back of a closet next to Tom so no one can find it. There are tons of people here who post work, the whole 'oh no, someone might steal my stuff' really reminds me of the early days of the forum. Either way, get over the paranoia, it's not going to help you any. Your work can be stolen just by sharing it with staff trying to get a job. You can't avoid it, stop trying.

You're not forced to do anything technically... but that isn't going to help you, now is it? Age and timezone(not location... not like it matters) can help someone determine if they want to hire you. I'm not gonna say, 'hey, post it!' as it's not needed unless the person hiring requests it... but I'm perplexed at your fear of posting your age/location. No one can do a damn thing if they know you're 42 and living in Metropolis. There's safe browsing, and there's paranoid browsing.
I still don't see what you're so scared about posting your work for, though. It can go a long way in getting hired.

what has my age or wher ei live got anything to do with a job aplication timezone yes
but age and location are not needed
for instance isnt developing about the work produced? not about the certain player, it doesnt mater if you live in africa america or asia your still going to produce the same decentcy of work arn't you?

Actualy, age could affect what you do with a job. If, for instance, your 16, you might have alot of homework, and be at school 8 hours out a day.
If your 19, you might be in college and might have a lot of term papers due.
If you 57, you shouldnt be playing graal, go get a life (and for the people who are really 57, I apoligize)

Age can make a hell of a difference. It's not a way a sure fire way to determine something, but it isn't something to believe may not need to be provided. Location=timezone, simply. Some servers may like to regulate their staff and make sure the staff are balanced for different timezones or have everyone working at the same timezone.
Also, I say paranoid because your statement about security. There's no risk in you posting your age/location, what kind of security risks do you think that will cause to arise?

But some people would prefer to not work with people below the age of 18. Location would just determine your timezone and languge.

some kids age say 10-13 may be alot more mature then say some one who is 19 for instance but in the end its still the work that is produced am i correct?

My god, how in the hell did this thread get so far? Such threads like these are not allowed. If you want a job on a server, check out server hiring threads. I'm ashamed of all of you that posted here without mentioning this...

And as a note:
Age does matter. You could be the best person at producing work but if you are extremely immature, the smallest thing could get you in a little fit where you cause unwanted damage to the server. I certainly never hire people who seem to immature to handle the job.

Almost all servers ask for your timezone when hiring. The main reason for this is to tell if you will be available to work at the times they need people there. It does little good to have someone that makes things for a server when the dev staff never sees them to discuss things. Timezones alone though don't tell you as much as asking when their average play time is. So instead why not tell them what time you are normally online based off GMT. They can convert that to their time simply enough through googling GMT.

Age does matter, you could be at school for 6 hr.s at age 12 like me and someone else could be at school 8 hr.s at age 16.
