The way I see it, with mouse clicking you can still sprint in any direction you want, while when you're strafing you can't sprint period. Aiming is also much easier as it's more or less instant and doesn't really require you to move around.

I can just feel that it's much easier when I use it. I don't think its too fair for older players but then again its kind of hard to say YA REMOVE DIS because everyone can indeed use it.

Well thats not the problem...
The problem with it is that it has random angles while shooting. Example, if I hold down and left, then I am going to always shoot at the same angle, and the bullets will fly in the same path. But when you mouseclick down/left, the angle of the bullets alteres making it impossible to know what way there coming from until the gun actually fires. A fast gun at short range this is extremely difficult...

Well just try to kill someone fleeing and mouse clicking with a fast and freezing gun (EP), it's unfair because he can dodge your bullets and one click and bam he gets you and he can continue to flee and lame. While you can see someone who will shoot (cause he have to turn) it's more fun to follow this person as he cannot lame you as easily

I hear you say, that since everyone can do it, its fair. I want to know if you played Zone before mouse clicking, and if so how long? (After you answer this, I will tell you why it is relevant.)

The reason we are mad, is it changes the general gameplay of Zone, from the old to a newer easier way of fighting. And this isn't the first change to Zone that we have disagreed with, I personally just don't want them to change it anymore, they have changed alot already, and one thing I don't want is this, changes in gameplay, and combat.

The only thing I want changed, are the Number of Events, more then 3-5 active staff and new guns, its just boring without all this :/

Zone is a game where you can shoot in 8 different directions. Thats the point of zone, a 2D game where every single player (no matter what game controller they use) can shoot 8 ways. Well sorry, people who use mouse have the option of shooting 12 different ways giving them an extremely unfair advantage.

How many people here have heard of a game that gives benefits based on what type of controller you use? Sounds kinda stupid if you ask me...

The key to an online game is balance. For one option, the other option has to be equally fair, or try to be. On an RPG game, there could be one race that is way more powerful than the next... now to all the other races, they constantly die to that powerful race, and they complain. Sure, some would say, "you have the option to be that race, so it's fair"... is a dumb logic. In that case everyone would have to be that race just so the game would be fair, so why give the option of other races? So in the end, the logical solution would be to balance out the more powerful race with the others. The same applies here, just because it's possible for everyone to do doesn't make it fair. It should be balanced with the other options of control... or deleted.

good analogie, its like imagine if they sddenly gve era 8 directions, all the era players who have become awesome in 4d shooting would complain, well zone has just been driven to 12 directions so 8d users, standing by the TRUE zone fighting style, are obv complaining.

Yeah I started Zone a few months after it came out but I mainly just went around shooting people and didn't get into it much, and after that I played on and off. I got pretty good but I never actually ever update my gold subscription on one account I always buy a new account so it was always changing. I was gone for 6 months from Zone and came back recently on my other account Quake because of the new weird subscriptions. I click occasionally on and off and it isn't that different. When someone is clicking me I just strafe or avoid them and shoot from far back, maybe pull out mags or double shot... I am doing just fine.

1. you do not, and can not understand our point if you do not have or understand our fighting style which is pretty much natural to us long term players, so you really have no say since my argument dosent include you

You can easily compare races to control. Why? Because they are decisions in an online game that can control the outcome of your avatar. In this case, one of the decisions leads to an unbalanced gameplay... thus, just like an unbalanced race in an RPG, one of the options has to be balanced out. If the mouse movement mimicked keyboard movement, then it would just be 'the ability to move with your mouse", but it's not; there is a clear advantage of choosing one over the other. And in standard online game management, telling everyone to choose the best option because they can is not the solution, they should just fix it. By the by, you said it yourself, it is a different element of the game, and every element should at least be attempted to be balanced.
Also, nice touch with the whole delete me bit, I haven't heard that one before! You really know how to back up your statements.

What Dusty said was an incredibly accurate analogy (bravo) and what you said showed how absolutely tiny your mind is. He wasn't saying they were the exact same thing it's what they represent.

I'll explain the analogy so your tiny little mind MAY understand it. Mouse clicking is the overpowered race, it's available to everyone, but people like to be diverse and try something else. When the people who like to try something else are tired of the overpowered race and complain, the people who don't want the overpowered*ness* race to change they say "Well if you say it's so overpowered, then why don't you be one so you can't complain" thus defeating the purpose of any other races i.e Styles of fighting. This was his point.

By the way, the mouse click shooting has been out for about 2 weeks.

BUT it isn't overpowered. I already told Frieza in game that clicking should stay for the regular angels, but I can careless if the remove the extra angels. I've supported that part all along. So technically I think the extra few angels should be removed, which isn't really overpowered. You really should stop being so rude. By the way not trying to be mean but how can you make fun of my "tiny little mind" when you spelled hypocrite wrong...? Then you try to correct him for spelling analogy wrong... Oh well, this whole mess has proved my point about some people not being able to debate without tension sparking : /

That isn't really even remotely the same as talking about it on the forums, a lot of people don't read masses or don't go on when you actually mass or are on, then you come on here and insult someone because of something they said, and you tell people to take it seriously when YOU obviously made an attack on them, I don't think so mister.

The only reason I'm being so rude is because of how you act towards other people. I always have had trouble with Hypocrite but now I know how to spell it, so whatever. The fact is you started arguements by insulting people outright, using insults to prove they're wrong.
