See what he said there? I think you're missing the fact that all he's saying is it's become too much of a trend and people need to step back and think of something new.

I think the problem is, Zone and Super soaker are both looking for the same thing. Futuristic weapons. Super Soaker's are designed to look futuristic, cool, high-tech, and Zone's are supposed to be futuristic, cool, high-tech. It just seems we're going down the same road. Only way to fix this is to think of futuristic weapons completely original in design and idea(not saying you stole the idea, just saying what would futuristic weapons look like if they didn't look like super soakers?).

Futuristic weapon's do not mean big clunky looking gun's. A futuristic weapon can be anything that is unique, and different looking.
