New Rules?

I think zone event's need new rules seeing as how Anoobie's event went.+ With the new changes in v5.

Ex. In Anoobies event, he made the weapon apripper, But trials cannot use aprippers, can they? No, They can't use all weapons.

Ex. If anoobie, had chosen apps, like he said. Then trials would still have to deal with observer,So should they be ALLOWED to play?

I think Et's should ALL follow under 1 ruling, Not make up there own.

Any ideas/Is this a good idea?

Its up to the ET hosting. They follow most of the same guidelines but it is there interpretation of how it should be enforced is what I think you are questioning. About Anubis hosting with appripers. It is up to him what weapon he hosts with it doesn't matter if trials can use it or not. Trials are now kicked from events by the server if they go into observer mode now I believe. A trial can upgrade if they don't want to be kicked by observer mode.

An ET may choose his/her own rules as long as they are not abusive. Everyone is entitled to join/play in the event unless other-wise stated.

Most likely different ets. They all normaly use the same ''No running,Hiding,Teaming. Holding A is hiding'' Or somewhat near that. And repeat. But i seen jesse and anoobie host. And they want the last 2 people to spar fair, not lame, and no healing.

I dont consider that right x-x. I mean, if you dont use alot of meds and you make it to the very end. Whats the point for them. In most other events that have been in,the rules were just Last man standing and new running hiding etc.

-No Hiding
-No Teaming
-Running is acceptable
-Each player may heal
-The last 4 players in the event will spar fairly.
Example:
A vs B
A wins
C vs D
C wins
A vs C
A wins
Winner takes home the prize.

Ex. I used all the normal meds, Its me and jin left in a event. He has no meds, but i can still hurt him little by little. But wait, Whats this?! I have my easter eggs!

Deathmatch = LastManStanding,Its all about being able to stay alive longer.Not ''Who has the most skill?(Aka Spar Tourny)''.

No, i might have a chance of winning? Thats like what, Lets say 500hp vs 100hp. I woudl have a chance though he has more skil.

Ex: If that kid from the 2nd round rehost yesterday had meds, and could heal, He prob could of owned me, and won rps.

Anyways, running to an extent. If the player just runs around in circles the whole match, than I would eventually warn him.

I'd do sort of the samething. If i catch them running ill give them a warning, If i catch them again ill just kick them :P

The events are hard to get used to now since we have to limit the weapons used drastically because of this new V5 thing. Suck it up mate. Trials shouldn't even be able to compete in events so we are doing them a favour. Now reply in a sensible manner to prevent me from having to lock this thread.

Person that has played longer and more skilled vs someone who has some skill and hasnt played long.

Who's gonna win? , Duh, you should know, Healing alot is the only way the person with less skill is EVER gonna win a event.

If there are certain people in line that are most likely gonna win the events, and you BARELY have a chance, whats the point of trying? You need to give them more of a chance to win. ''Balance'' zone events.

How do i put this..

Ok a skilled and not-so-skilled person are playing.

With the current ''Spar'' and ''no healing'' rules, The skilled person has a oh lets say, 70 percent chance to win.

While the Not as skill person has 20 percent chance, With the 10 percent chance that its a rehost/they both died at the SAME time.

With the all out, healing and no sparring, It raises the not so skilled persons chance of winning by what? 10 percent?

IF you think, 70 percent is fair to 20, Something is wrong.

Thats been a rule for a long time, I mean a long time its almost like a "Bolded" ET Rule. You tell me the ET who does not make the last two people fight one on one, no healing, running, and laming.

Also ask yourself, do you think it is right that when their are 3 people left, that after Player A and B fight, A wins and as soon as B's death Gani plays, Player C lames A and takes the prize? One more thing, I think they make the Rule so that someone doesn't win the Prize out of sheer dumb luck, it is possiable for someone to avoid fighting the whole match, and then be in the last three and not be chosen to fight, but the that one rule would stop them from being able to win as they would have to fight agianst someone who beat all the rest or at least enough to live.

Also Sean look at it this way, their is an Event once a Week eventually everyone will have a prize.

The reason I made it Aprippers is because YOU and John were going on trials and intended on ruining it for other players, just like you did the night before except you were on your p2p's you couldn't win Rps again so you made it so your friend could win by killing everyone else.
Then there's the fact that people with the event weapon shouldn't be able to fight at all. So, there's another reason I wanted to host it.
I intended on using appirces until you and john ruined it.
My normal rules are:
If caught teaming I will kick you, I say if I catch because it's too much of a headache dealing with "oh my gosh lolz he teamed me" teaming includes attacking when it's obvious 2 others are fighting, I don't care if they accidentally hit you, then move away
Healing is fine until the last 2 people
The last 2 people must do a fair spar and not lame or begin without each being at the health they can get to with what healing items they can get up to
It's ok to run but excessive runners will be kicked an example would be running continuously to avoid someone in a fight or fighting all together

Ok, to go on with the offtopic subject, Most p2ps are friends, so, without trials then you would'nt have much people to kill, Trials on the other hand, aren't like that, they dont NEED p2ps to own them.

Screw me?I said no flame what so ever. No frieza, it wasn't always like that it wasn't a ''rule'' its just what people mainly did sometimes, and Healing WAS allowed, so was p2p with the event weapon being able to play. Typhoon raped me outta most of mine.

Currently, Zone has 10-12 people on it, which is the second lowest amoung Classic/Gold servers.
