Two things.

1. Some masks are just to show off, such as the vip masks. The easter rabbit mask, on the other hand, gives ac+1, dex +1 and int -1, so it can be useful for stats.

2. Whether it's considered needed or not, it's been possible to hide masks for some time now, so this thread's not much of a suggestion anymore.
