Either way, yours sounds cooler.
Really? I don't remember ever even thinking about a Bomberman server before now o_o. It is entirely possible though but I'm sorry I forgot if you did .

That's a great idea. I'll add that to the list of bomb types.

In the next thread I should be posting sample screen shots (to show what I am going for as a picture is worth a thousand words), a more comprehensive list of bombs types, power-ups and better suit piece descriptions. I will also post possible idea quests (but only a few, I don't want to spoil anything ;D).

S'alright..apologies might not even be necessary, we've both got some pretty bad memory though

Screen shot of the key layout! Keep in mind I only used state.png and the current Bombermad graphics. I have to remind you that I currently have no graphic artists for either of my projects, Atexia or Bombermad. Help would greatly be appreciated.

The keys are as follows:
  • S - Bomb Key
    • Drop a fresh bomb under you.
    • Pump up a bomb in your hands.
    • Create a fresh bomb in your hands while holding A.
  • Z - Trigger Key
    • Trigger a remote bomb to explode.
    • Do other secondary bomb related functions (depending the bomb equipped).
  • A - Arms Key
    • Pick up a bomb, item or dizzy enemy.
    • Throw what is being held.
    • Grab and Pull.
    • Create a fresh bomb in hands when S is pressed while held down.
    • Use equipped arms suit piece such as swinging the sword or holding up the shield.
  • E - Head Key
    • Use equipped head suit piece such as breathing fire (Dragon Helm) or turning on special vision (Iron Goggles).
  • D - Body Key
    • Use equipped body suit piece such as gliding (Dragon Mail) or hovering (Iron Armor).
  • C - Legs Key
    • Kick a bomb in front of you.
    • Use equipped legs suit piece such as running.
  • Q - Power-Up Menu
    • Displays all acquired power-ups and miscellaneous items.
    • Equip various bombs acquired and triggers for them too (like remote bomb).
    • View quest status.
  • W - Suit Piece Menu
    • Displays all acquired and equipped suit pieces.
    • Equip suit pieces on your head, body, arms and legs for various abilities.
  • M - Map (Not shown on screen shot)
    • Shows 3 types of maps (if acquired).
    • Local Map - Displays the general vicinity around you along with possible other features such as items, bombs and enemies. This can only be used if you have vision type equipment worn such as the Iron Goggles.
    • Island Map - Displays the whole island that you are on. Includes various geographical features and other points of interest. Requires a whole island map or pieces of an island map.
    • Space Map - Displays all the known islands to you along with information about each one. Though you start the game with this, it builds it self bigger as you find more islands.

That is just my general rough draft for the key set-up. Comments?
