I checked. So far they all seem to have the orange bar, the metallic kind of time display and that multi-coloured 'start' button which reminds me of Mario 64 for some reason.

So you mean. It's just soft of like a (GUILD) but has the privilege to construct a server? So If the PW takes about 1 year to develop that's 24 Dollars per year. Oh and will it be free once it's in Classic Tabs like most servers do.
That is awesome if it's true.

They are modifiable with Windows' themes with the .wba extensions, from what I believe.

I believe they chose option number two. However, I do appreciate Stefan himself saying that we're not paying to develop or for developer tools, only for a playerworld building guild (or whatever). As long as it doesn't affect my work or my server, I ultimately don't care. 1.) I really all the new features and such and am really hoping to get to work with those new script functions/features soon. However I have a few questions or gripes.

Issue 1:

I understand DEVELOPER TOOLS ARE FREE. However, what will be included in this developer PACK? Anything special?

No. It's $120 per year. Because you need 5 people with dev packs. And $2 a month per dev pack a person.

5 x $2 = $10 a month for server acces. Times 12.

No actually you pay for yourself a month and the PW is free because you just make up a Developer's Guild and create one. If the guild goes below the minimum members than I guess the PW is gone.

The PW is gone until you have 5 developer members again.

Ok let's start a constructive discussion; I have cleaned the topic so we can try to start with good base:

1) If you have question asks them, Stefan and I will try to answer them
2) Try to give idea or suggestion this is always better than giving raw critics

Can servers enable/disable the PM list? If not, please understand that alot of servers want it disabled since it interferes with in-game systems.

Aight.

If you want to help out on multiple servers, can you just buy one of these dev packs and join the servers or would you have to buy a dev pack for each one?

Or have I misread it and only the 5 people have to buy the dev packs and they can give players rights to the server like normal?

They will probably stay like they are right now, but could be switched to the new system as well (but be bound to the owners account instead of to a developer guild)

You mean the PM window? The playerlist cannot be disabled right now, but it would be possible to customize the PM windows.

Can't you make it so it CAN be disabled? I mean, let's use an example:

* Server has an in-game "nation war" or similar going on. In their scripted system, members of different "factions" can't send messages to each other.
* Player A overrides this system by sending a PM to Player B (that's in an opposite faction), thus ruining a major concept for the server.

Seriously, hear me out, ALOT of scripters and server managers would REALLY appriciate if the PM window could be disabled.

And Stefan, take 2 minutes and reply to my PM please.

When will graal 3d come out and will there be different subscriptions for 3d playerworlds? Does a developer pack enable 5 people to develop a 3d playerworld when graal 3d comes out?

The playerlist cannot be disabled, people could chat via ICQ/MSN etc. or teamchat anyway, I don't really see how you could avoid 'cheating' with it. And we could still display 'You cannot send PMs while the war is going on' with the new scripted PM system.

Then in a way, it "can" be disabled?

Graal3d software is close to be finished, our main problem now is to organize assets (graphics, 3d models...) so developer can use them.

Another problem we have to resolve is to reduce the CPU/MEMORY needed to run a 3D world, right now we can only run a few servers on a BI/XEON computer, you can imagine costs are to high.

Stefan is it possible that you can add a referral system? For ever member referred who upgrades there account the reffering member should receive something. That way more people come to Graal.

Think about it, this should cut down on the number of playerworlds that can't get enough staff to even develop. I don't see where this is a bad thing other thing since one of the major complaints has been the lack of talented staff to go around compared to the number of playerworlds.

It would be awesome if the GUI was customizable. The new GUI just looks too big for my tastes.

Also, I've noticed that some people have different log-on screens in GraalV4; are there multiple skins? If so, how do you choose which one you want?

It's a bad thing because it means less people paying for playerworlds that just sit there doing nothing.

I mainly play Kingdoms, but I will not be renewing if it means having to pay separate fees to play other servers. Kingdoms is going down the tubes right now anyway, and I don't want to pay to see it all happen with no hopes of playing other servers instead.

But I do think the dockable list and video capturing methods are pretty nice.
