This is how it looks in-game. Rather dashing fellow holding the sword, non?

I would definitely say it fits GK's style a whole lot more than the current one, which is a slush-cicle.

I generally stray from too much atmospheric detail when doing GK stuff because alot of the original stuff was "lol papercut outs4lyf" and look the part.

It never got added. I still would like to see it happen, though. And for more to be released. It's a pretty nice sword.

Forgive me if I missed it, I didn't read everything - but I was under the impression that the gfx were changed because they found out the old ones were stolen from a different game or something.

Yeah, the current image of the Ice Sword sucks. I like the original much better than the current one, and I don't like the shading that Draenin did I liked it more how napkin had it.
