--< Zamarrah >-- (beta concept, yet to be finished. take care of bad english)
Zamarrah is a Planet, quite similar to our.
The difference is, that because of the count of Suns and Moons, only one Side of the Planet has Day and Night, while the other side only has night, furthermore, the dark side of the planet is mainly inhabited by monsters and dangerous creatures.
1. Setting
The setting consists of the towns mageach and galeach, which both once were one town, the mythical chamballah - a second garten eden.
When the sin was introduced in chamballah, the town broke apart, and over the centuries, both halves drifted slowly away near the border to the dark side of the planet.
The setting is - that both towns are close to armageddon, as there would be no life possible in the dark side of the planet - as its not heaten up by the suns. Thats why both towns try to stop the drifting.
Legends say - that the drifting is caused by the tension between both towns - and can be stopped, or even reversed, if peace can be established between both towns. Sadly, both towns are political unstable, and the monarchs and regents fear a loss of power, if the towns would reunite. Other people try to establish peace, and a last group, even tries to annihilate mankind, with accelatering the drifting up again - which slowed down as both towns signed a no-attack treaty several hundred years ago. Yet, both towns are far from piece, and the treaty was broken several times - each time, both towns drifted further in the direction of the dark side.
2. the towns/islands
2.1. Mageach
Mageach is a town with a medieval european setting. The ground is fertile, and the climatic is mild. In opposite to this, there are hardly minerals in the earth, so that findind ores is hard, and has to take place deep in the underground.
Mageach is officially ruled by a king, but the real rulers are 5 barons, who only care for their power and try everything to stabilize the position of Mageach, as they fear a loss of power - in both cases: the reunion, and the end of the town.
As the king comes from a old family, that already held alot of influence in chamballah, he tries to reunite both islands.
2.2. Galeach
Galeach is a town with medieval oriental setting.
While Mageach is rich of rain and fertile ground, it hardly rains in Galeach, and the heat only allows few regions of the islands to grow food. Water is rare, and of value - water rather than gold indicated the wealth of a family, thats why most tribeleaders wear blue cloth.
Galeach is ruled by a council of tribe-leaders, while the island is inhabited by 5 tribes, who brotherly rule and take control over the regions.
Still, all people of Galeach envy Mageach for it's water and fertile grounds, and several attempts have been taken, to conquer Mageach to take control over these grounds.
In the sands of Galeach, miners can find alot of ores and other goods.
This value is yet absorbed by the need to constantly buy food and water at bad conditions, as Mageach and smaller islands try to take profit of the islands situation.
2.3. Smaller Islands
There are several other Islands, which are inhabited by the dwarves and the elves.
Most of these islands are neutral, and partly inhabited by humans, too. But a groupd of evil elves tries to incite a final war between Mageach and Galeach, to gain control over the whole habitable side of Zamarrah.
