New .gmap levels

I am thinking of doing a hell .gmap so we can have a new area to explore with monsters and such but I need to know if I can use zone tileset or if someone can add onto the current graal kingdoms tileset some lava and volcano and stuff like that so i can start on it.

umm don't think i posted this in the right spot but had to try somewhere.

Use addtiledef2, make some tiles and then replace them over the current dungeon tiles.
You'd also need to make some new monsters too!

Thats good and everything if I knew what I was doing but I am asking for help and we have monsters that aren't seen yet unless in a treasure map or by em summon.

Browse forums, idea already exists. Someone wanted to do that and started working on tiles or so.

It had better be more detailed than you just using terraingen and generating a random island. You should take the time to actually hand-build the peaks yourself so that water isn't really present. Otherwise there would have to be some sort of script for taking damage in lava or something.

Malinko was wanting me to work on some gmaps before he faded out, but my Gold ran out and I was kicked from debug after resigning from Samurai leadership. If you need help on anything, be sure to AIM me.

Yeah, I have some spare time too. I can script anything and produce any type of level when bothered!

I like the idea of a new zone to explore. I was getting quite bored with the current island...btw. Is there a specific reason why no one ever made a new island?

There were "new" islands. Event Island is "new" and we also have an island for ship battles that's kinda new.
