Angry RC Error
This has been happening ever since the last release of the RC but I never spoke up until now. 90% when I select text (to copy and paste) my rc stops responding for about 30 seconds, this gets really annoying. Either that or I get a popup error message.

Have you tried using the GTK compatibility version from the Install Packages section on the login server?
