You prefer it. No one else really seems to care. GK has changed since your day of hosting events. I can't even host during the day usually Mon-Fri because there is barely 20 ppl on by the time i get off. Times change and as Sam said. He's EM Admin..his word is law.


Now lets look at this stat wise. Hotaru ballroom is the right size for the event...granted i need a kick or level kick but ppl don't seem to mind..they walk out and they are back to wherever they were warped from and if they walk in at least they are on hotaru island and don't have to walk all the way across events island to get back to main.

Then that would make you responsible for the quality of events. If such quality is low, then you aren't doing a good job.
Fayt would use Event Island Raffle over Hotaru. I can't tell what Ravenblade's intents are though.
Some people just do things because they can. If they can't do it, then it won't happen. Hotaru raffles are an example of that. Levels of respect toward the Events Master can be a factor to that, but it's mainly because of lack of control.

Just give EMs a global "punt" command that kicks people to random locations on main.gmap. Kicking just provokes people to cause more problems 5 seconds later. The "punt" command could have a second parameter that would have the "punt" reason displayed on the screen.

I'm not an Events Master anymore due to inactivity.
Until I get a real reason and explanation as to why Events Island Raffle isn't being brought back, I'm not going to accept the "no".

That's because most of the people that would care quit the game. It's because a lot of the active players quit the game. It could very well be partially Sam's fault then since he is the EM Admin. Even if his words are law, that doesn't make them good words.

The Events Island Raffle room was designed specifically for raffles. It had a kick command. A perfect solution already existed but then it was torn down for some reason.

I am not saying I wouldn't use events island raffle house but you also can't blame Sam for stuff being the way it is. If you are on as much as I am you would see the type of people that are on. We have nothing but scammers and usders, whiners etc. Those are the people who bring down the quality. Not sam.

you are a pretty new player to GK, you have been playing for a few months and you think you own the place... i had never heard of you till i came onto this thread and then i asked who you were on GK and i was immediatley PMed by 6 people, (only 9 were online) and every single one of them said you were aweful, horrible, and mean to everyone i cant say what else they said because my post would be deleted. now i realise why they said that, are you really that bad? prove you are not

I have been playing for over 2 years now Taikun. Again how often are you on. And frankly this is OOC but my character is made to be a total ass. I am serious. I am trying to be better with people and frankly don't care what they think. I had one person come on today who claims to have gotten me fired from being a GP. Only me and sam knows what really happened.

So go ahead and listen to those people. I will tell you the same thing I told everyone else. Until you get to know me yourself don't judge what others say.

I am talking amount of people who are on usually, how close it is to main. the fact it warps you back to where you were pulled from..etc.

Attendance is a factor for ALL events. Location and warping back are things that only matter after the event. It warps you back to outside the last building you walked in... but that's true for EVERY building that was properly made.

Can you name a factor that is specific to raffles?

It would be possible to use a refocus script so ANYONE SITTING could see the raffle box and the crowding around would not be required anymore. If you like I can get someone the code from the forest castle, or you can find similiar (and anooyingly slower) from Samurai or even Dustari.

As far as Event isle goes, I would much rather like to see it integrated into the mainworld maps so you can sail to it and do a king of the hill like event with it between multiple kingdoms / groups.

Can you name a factor that is specific to raffles?

Actually your wrong on the warping thing. If you start the event and it warps them into the building then it does that but otherwise they have to walk back. And since I need to reset some warp points for events then the raffle on hotaru will be a blessing. Especially for slow people.

A big factor would be location Ed. Would you rather go back to main from Hotaru island or Events island? Another would be people's speed.
