I look at it as a fourm of shading used to make something look cartoony. If you us epillow shading you can work with alot more than just 3 colers. I look at dithering as a cheap excuse not to work with as manny collers as possable to make it look good. Look at zone it's a gold server! It's gfx are 10 times better than any classic server! I use a combanation of dithering and pillowing. I use dithering to trasition. Oh forgive me for editing your tv but this thing is hard to discribe but easy to do. Just lower to ocupency for a blue and go over the tv screen in dithering (checker board) style. This helps define the glass a bit more.

Edit: Oh yea, btw, Zone is rarely ever using any dithering if you didnt notice, and the "dithering" on your edited tv screen is...useless.
