It would have to be a short period of time, though. If you made it 10 minutes, someone could block a certain passage for those 10 minutes...and that's a long time if someone is trying to get through.

The wreckage could just be made non-blocking, or it could bump off of ships so that your ship leaves a clear path through it.

Yeah, make it disapear after 1 minute or somthing like that.
