Perhaps when you pick someone up they can press A in retaliation 1 second after being picked up to counter it.

I would love to see that happen. But it probably won't unless it is made into a cheap comical action with not too much blood. Perhaps picking someone up and hitting A faster than the other guy would determine whether they get torn in half or not. :P
