The hell, who really need diamonds? Its just for enchanting weapons. I cant imagine that people need 500 diamonds, why should them be currency?

Plats should just get an increased worth, by a money-reset or anything.

This is a ridiculous thread, sorry. Stefan has already said there won't be a reset, you can't stop diamonds being the currency, its the best thing for GK to just leave things to sort themself out..

Diamonds are a concrete economy item. They don't need to be screwed with.

The hell, who really needs paper money? You can't even write on it very well! I guess you can kind of burn it for fuel. I can't imagine that people would need 500 bills, why should they be currency?

I am surprised I don't see anyone in the mines, ever. I usually find two to five diamonds in there a day. It's really nice to have lots of them saved up.

I was not saying that selling them for 400p was a GOOD idea, it was just an idea to level out the use for them as currency. Truth be told, the only thing that really sparks my anger is the flood of cash that spewed its way into the world. Inflation is so darn rediculous right now for GK.

How about you all just buy diamonds for 500plat. And keep it that way? No one buy them for more... because when you sell them again for something else, people will be like nope, give me more, dias are only worth 500plat... There we go.

btw, only reason i saw a need for dias was for weapon enchants I think..

Yes, more or less, and noone needs as many diamonds to enchant weapons as you pay for good items.

Go make a shop where you can buy diamonds for say 750 plat each. Give the players one week to buy themselves diamonds. Then reset all the money.

Basically Darkreign ruined this one..he set the bar at 1k per dias and ppl caught on. its ridiculous. It will pass but it takes time. Its not a overnight thing. A few still sell for 500p a dias

I think all the plat in the game should be reset well i whould say that i dont have any plat i only have dia.

I'd have to second that, there's so much of that glitched plat around...so much of it was given out, even thouhg alot of people are going to go agaisnt reseting all the plat because they have 500k of it from selling gems for crazy prices, it's still glitched platinum.

Plat is not 'glitched.' It kind of comes from places. Enemies drop it, shopkeepers give you it, you get it from selling items and doing alchemy, and so on. Before the time of many still posting here, there wasn't that much to go around, but alchemy was fixed and the economy got to where it is now, basically. Most of the time, plat is so insignificant it's unreal.

I can't help but think this is directly related to Drako being an idiot and other people believing him about the price of diamonds again. Stop being sheep.

If you guys are that desperate for diamonds, I could always fetch some magic gear again and get back to making a few hundred diamonds every couple of days to sell for 500 plat apiece.

Yes, but now most of the plat around was from a glitch i have seen lots of players with way over 1 mil plat.
