Well, as the title says, I just wanted to share what I'm working on,
I've been working on this project in like 2-3 weeks. I've made a good working mudlib, I have a good staff team, maybe looking for some more tho

Well, here's a little screenie

Btw, the tileset is old (being replaced soon maybe)

I'm also taking ideas that I could add, what the server could need, since I
thought player ideas rules, since they can become very unique :]

Also, if you have suggestions for the tileset (It's pretty dark, I know)

Looks alright, I like the bushes in the tileset though, definately a keeper.

Gui's look ok too. Not much else to say really unless you show some more screenshots.

Btw, we also have alot of weapons, items and armor :]

Currently: 55 weapons, 101 armor pieces, and just only a few items; 21.
Working on the inventory, have to change it into a gui (to match the same style as main gui and stats

)

I don't want to be a downer really but with Zodiac thriving and Maloria holding on like a tick that wont go away, this area of server is really kind of covered, even if you finish you'd have a hard time competeing.

I find it funny everytime a modern server or futuristic server comes along its "OH MY GOD ERA/ZONE CLONE WTF BBQ!?!?!?!" But when someone makes a rpg server or classic server its "LOLZ Y U SO UNIQUE?!!?" Holy hell why must everyone be so hypocritical.

I like what I see graphics-wise, and who knows if it will end up like Maloria or Zodiac? All we have seen so far is some graphics and a small piece of a level, we really haven't been told anything about the gameplay or what sort of storyline it will have, so no one should be jumping on either the "ZOMG RIPOFF"
bandwagon just yet.

Chompy I'd love to hear what sort of plans you have and possibly provide some input and ideas for you, perhaps PM me or something and we can talk.

Well, I am thanking for the comments, and such.

Well, the server is RPG, I've got up the basic systems (only remaining is inventory
and the dropping of arcs)

I've worked quite alot on the systems, trying to
get them as abuse/bug/glitch - free as possible; quite done with that untill
someone reports errors etc.. I'm planning to release the server public soon (currently Staff Only), well,
I'll start on releasing some of the planned ideas:

Currently there are various stats;
(Strength, Vitality, Stamina, Accuracy, Intelligence, Endurance, Dexterity, Speed, Agility, and Luck).

The max level is 180, and 15 special levels (total: 195).

Staff are not allowed to abuse, if any staffs abuse, it will
result of being fired, or losing rights; demote.

Well, currently there are planned to have some couple of Main Quests
(quests that is not easy, its like a gameplay quest, can last for (a) day(s)),
there are also sub-quests (Can be got by npcs, or example you get flashbacks;
like when you enter a ruin). Well, the gameplay is currently short on ideas,
so I thought I could need of some ideas outside my head (player ideas)..

so... Any Ideas, Suggestions, or Critique?

Also, if anyone thinks I'm ripping of anything, please tell me, gotta change it then.. :[

Zodiac only became so popular because Maloria sucks and there was no other competition for the whole level-up RPG style server.

During the summer I was working on an RPG project for Aeon, I was making good progress with the scripting but it all got thrashed when the owner decided to "refocus" the server.
I lost my inspiration for work after that for the most part.
Unfortunately I don't have a screenshot of the latest UI I had before being thrashed, it was alot darker and nicer than the one in last pic. I had to edit the thing myself since nobody could get what I wanted. I'm NOT a gfx person -_-'

Conversation system was going to be based off of Morrowind's and the object info system was going to be based off of EVE's.

I thought the item pane was too bright so I darkened it, and I didn't like the window title bar. But like I said, I don't have a shot of the changes I made after that.

That was really nice, the problem I am having with the inventory is loading a particular inventory part (Weapons, Armor and Items),

Oh no, this was for Aeon.
Though I must say i'm rather disappointed with it right now, apparently the higher staff other than myself and Tyreal have life issues to deal with and don't really have time to play Graal anymore, so production is rather slow. Though Tyreal has been doing an excellent job of picking up the pieces.

The server itself is rather disorganized with lots of things that need to be updated to GS2 and there aren't really that many left to help with this. One of the problems I believe was the choice to make the server multi-themed when we hadn't even completed the main world, which was a bad choice.

I personally would like to backup everything then delete it off of the server keeping only the overworld itself then go from there.

Thanks for the compliment. Most everything in there is like alpha-stage stuff.

I wasn't replying to any one post specifically, and it most certainly wasn't your post. I was just responding to what I had seen in the entire thread to that point. If there had been a post that I was trying to reply to I would have quoted it. Maybe you should try understanding other people's posts before you attempt to take petty shots at them.
