Nothing just yet, for a future "killing" job.. it may ask you to bring the bones (gun kills) or dog tags (melee kills) to someone.

Say it gives you a hitlist of three people online now you need to get the dogtags of each and make sure it says your the killer. If they log off before you get the dog tag you can switch who it is.. fun enough =p.

i dont know who does your gfx, but the dogtags could use trimming down for that fugly white outline that surrounds it. if possible you could make the heads and junk look like their part of the metal, because the graal heads just do not look good on that steel.

I love that idea, and it could most deff be done, I'm positive of it. Make the head and the writing sort of engraved into the steel.

Also, Joey, try to size them down a bit, they are quite large, even for a bigger picture of them. Only need to be as big as the information required really.

I don't get it. So some tags randomly pop up on your screen? Nothing impressive. Then again it would be nice if you could take people's tags. :P

You can pick up other peoples tags, as well as bones. Different things will drop if you kill a player (melee/gun); Joey already said that in the beginning post.

Nice dogtags idea, its like on battlefield 2142 when you get a knife kill, you collect their g tags.

more like day old pb and j, most of the threads in this section dont have any interesting information about anything, exactly why i havent posted anything about my upcoming server, but if there wasnt any informationless posts here the forum would probably be empty

That's right, and I think Kuji only made this because he wants to run Era (in his own mind) his own way, because he doesn't get along with the Era staff.

I wouldn't say ripoff... maybe heavily inspired? I mean seriously there are at least a hundred and one ways to make an urban 2-D RPG. What are the odds that Graal X would look so similar? Just saying...

Dunno who you're trying to fool. Tyrial was the same about his playerworld when I claimed he was copying Oasis. He denied it to the fullest and yet later he told me that he was influenced a lot by my work and that it was true that a lot of it was copied. (he might not have used those exact words but he pretty much admitted that it wasn't a coincidence)

Exactly. Also running around the server you can just smell Era but graphically improved and some more functions. It's the path Era was supposed to take but didn't.

Like I told Kuji over AIM, Graal X is to Era like Unholy Nation is to Classic.

No matter what, in the end Classic is UN's daddy like Era is Graal X's daddy.

Now which one is better is a different story, as Era still has it's ugly ass tileset from 2003 and the only way to make attractive levels is by heavily using custom graphics everywhere.

Anyway anyone who says Graal X was not influenced by Era is a damn idiot. But just because something is built on the ideas of another it doesnt have to be a carbon copy. When you give your comments on GX rember it is still under construction and I guess is getting its core systems done, although no one really knows besides Kuji.

I'm sorry to say but I logged in to Graal X just to see what it was like and the first thing that ran through my mind when I logged on was..."Wow...it's Era"

Not that its a bad thing. I didn't dive very deep into Graal X at all. To remedy this they just need to distance themselves from Era somehow.

I must disagree, they can be alike in looks but gameplay wise they can be very diffrent.
