Upgrading someone elses account.

I would like to do this, as soon as possible, but I don't think it is possible as I don't want their password and stuff (I doubt she'd give it to me either).

Is there anyone able to "bend the rules" so-to-speak, or an able way of doing this?

buy them a new account and give them the info? it would be a nice feature to add like a gift thing or something where someone can donate time/money to your account.

It is legal.

I remember an admin saying it back in 2003. In a thread where I said "Lyndzey said it was ok as long as you get the receipt" she said "I was told it is ok".

This is not really simple, the problem is that the account needs to be blocked when someone does credit card fraud. Eventually there could be some way of authorization by the owner of the account, but it could still be abused.

Well, this happened to me once. unixmad basically gave me a certain amount of time to have my account legitly upgraded before facing a perm ban.

Just don't credit the time to the account until the payment is irreversibly complete.
