Again, people in their 30's and 40's lived through all of videogaming/pc gaming in it's entirety. How can you say they shouldn't be allowed to play them now? I grew up with Mario and Zelda and the age of NES and Gameboy and have been playing ever since. I find it ridiculous when I play an online game where some 14 year old tells me I'm too old to be playing the game. The very birth of most online games nowadays are from people 20 and over who enjoyed playing games in their childhood and still enjoy playing them today.

p.s. Ching, when you make a post saying "you're deluded if you think I care", you're pretty much contradicting yourself, because if you didn't care you wouldn't bother to tell me that you didn't care.

Dude, what the hell are you talking about? Where did I ever say that she shouldn't play or she couldn't play. When I'm 40, I'll still be playing too. You have confused me a bit.

But anyway, how is it selfish to want a forum focused on my age group. The entire game is focused on the age group of 13, when a majority of players are older than that. So, asking for one single forum out of the entire gameplay and forums is selfish? Seems a bit extreme to call that selfish.

Yes, I know you can't be sure of a person's age online. However, the age they have in the forums, combined with the fact that they want to sign up, should be good enough. People normally don't stretch their age too much online anyway, and if they feel as though they want to talk about more mature topics, let them. Also, if they sign up for it, claiming they are 18+, then Graalonline has no liability if they see something they 'shouldn't' have. Of course, if they're online, chances are, they've seen things 1000 times worse online, and wouldn't have a problem with it. If they are the kind of person who does not like reading about more mature topics, hen they wouldn't have signed up for membership in that forum!

This forum would need a clear, separate set of rules, to make sure it doesn't lose it's value as an 18+ forum. It would also ensure that people wouldn't have their access removed forever. It would be the same as the normal forums. They would have a time that they are 'banned for, and at the end of that time, they get their access back. The lounge currently is not ran this way, which is highly unethical.

Anyway, what do you think?

Except the majority are still under 18. In fact, I would be willing to bet, that the majority falls within the 14-16 age group.

I don't understand. I am an adult, and I have recieved one warning, I think, the entire time I have been posting here, and maybe even one warning on the game itself.
I do not feel alienated just because I am an adult on a game geared towards children, and I cannot discuss adult stuff. If I wanted to do that, I could find an adult forum somewhere. I understand that my age group, and the adult age group is the minority here.
I will say it again, this is a game forum. This forum has a large variety of ages viewing it, who are members, and who post, and the majority of the members of these forums, and the game are not adults, they are children.
All you have to do is keep this in mind, and respect it, and understand it. I don't see why it is so hard.

So why are you playing a game that has the vast majority of children when you're 40+?

I'll never understand why someone would want to do that, i guess it's an American thing, sure i can understand if you started playing when you were young and you grew older whilst playing it, but even then as you get older you grow up and out of playing this game, which is the case of like 95% of my older friends who i started playing this game with, but there's no way you started playing this game when you were around 15.

Playing Graal and being a Forum Admin are 2 differeent things. So you met her in the game and dislike to see her playing? I don't understand what this have to do with the leading of this forum. Or do you also don't understand why an adult is leading a game forum?

It's a game meant for children, therefore, since it will not market to older audiences, you should be a child to play it.
Of course, the game doesn't dork that way, and neither should the forums. After all, there's no mods for in game chat, masses, or pm's.

No, the only point he has is that he has this image of what 40 year old should do in their life, and it isn't playing games because only children, or young adults are allowed to play games. That is false.

How do you know what members are actually playing, or viewing the forums? There are so many playerworlds, and 24 hour days, and different time zones, and new members signing up for the forums consistantly. This is a topic that none of us should even be discussing, as none of us have access to these statistics.
