Wow. It has been a LONG time since I've made MIDIs. Probably a good 2 or 3 years. I'm a lot better since I made these but check them out.

If you choose to import and mess around with these midis, it's all right. You can learn from some of the techniques I used etc. Just don't copy/rip off of tracks and call it your own work

They kind of remind me of something I'd have heard in Final Fantasy. It's very FF-esque.

I don't think you can justly say it wasn't influenced by anything. Maybe not so direct and blatant as thinking "This music is cool I want to make something like it" but you can't deny being influenced
