It seems more along the lines that you're just trying to get an intelligence war happening with Seph. I agree with Inferno on the front and back pillar line-up thing.

It'd be a better idea to drop your argument.

_Z3phyr_ is an unknown quantity at this point
*cough*

Not even a broken piece or something? Maybe some rubble or chips on the ground nearby? I mean, the last time I saw a perfect brick was... uh...

How about adding a turn or curve or something into the perspective so it doesn't just look all fake

ahh looks pretty tight.. could be a bit better, like the tops of the pillars look un even and there should be a shadow casted from the back pillar onto the wall..

but still nice work it makes me wanna jump over it

I may toy with it some more when I get home tonight. I am about to leave for work though.

Raelyn has a pension for laying on his back and throwing a hissy fit if someone says something negative about him. However, I'm going to have to agree with him. Considering the perspective and such, it's not a big deal for him to copy and paste.

Although I find the white is cery contrasty with the grey for some reason.

Perhaps because he's used the same white all the way around? Instead of darkening the white relative to the change in the shade of the greys?

He's following a sort of isometric style which doesn't require he apply perspective in a spacially distortive way.

It's a 1/4th isometric style, if I am not mistaken. And the shading is meant to be kept simple, I am toying around with a design idea for simple shaded objects. For instance, and it makes me sick to reference it, but similar to Runescape's non-textured colored models. I am attempting to do with pixel art what they've done with un-textured models. It's less time consuming than full-scale detail, but gets the job done enough to get the point across and in a unique graphic style.

The purpose of this style is to save developement time by allowing me to make twice as much, twice as big, and in half the time, while still keeping basic form and shading so that it's not.. well.. crappy.

Here's another quick example of the type of shading I am employing here.

I don't know why you insist on using that awful layout which allows you to double post.

I don't know why you use that awful layout that allows you to break the thread trees sporadically and without reason.

It makes more sense to me to dedicate a single post, using seperated quotes, to respond to different points than a volley of seperate posts for each point you wish to address.

Not to me.

Furthermore, you approach the dilemma that the second post I made was a good time after the first, and if I edited it into a previous post (mind you, in the wrong tree), someone who had already read my other post would have not noticed the late addition. It was a seperate comment and deserved a re-flagging of the thread so that people could see that the thread had new activity.

I don't know about you, but I don't go back and re-check posts I've already read to see if "Omg, did someone edit anything NEW into this post?". So it makes sense to post a seperate comment to ensure that it would actually be acknowledged.
