I am sure there are lots of ways to run special deals to give potential players a chance to play the game and see what it is all about, but it has to be advertised, advertised, advertised!!!

Then they're in the same situation they're in now, only with a brief flurry of money. Essentially, classic accounts don't work (in a economical way).

You can just give 3 months to current classics to upgrade for either 1 year classic for 20$ or unlimited.


Another good idea would be to allow classics on the top 2 servers or something? Or allow only 30 classic accounts per server.

I don't think you're quite getting it. The IDEA behind classic "One time payment" is the problem. Besides, that is ridiculous.
