Plain and simple said: The company don't want themes discussed which are not suitable for children under 14 years. And the company gave us more or less precise directions by the rules.

Understandable. However, what do posts about religion, abortion, and many other moral issues have to do with age? How are they not suitable for someone of the age of 14? If someone says something that isn't suitable, delete that post, that is your job as a mod. Instead, threads are always locked.

Using age as a justification for your increased rules would make sense if age actually played a role in most cases. Also, as I said before, how many complaints did you get a few years ago that suggested that rule changes were needed?

Themes like religion are highly sensitive so its not a theme we should discuss here. This has nothing to do with age but with social issues.

So make an 18+ Lounge, because most forums goers are 18+

I meant it doesn't matter how old are the people, using the forums. also if all of us where 25+ the rules wouldn't be changed.

No, but I'm willing to bet you wouldn't keep changing them to hurt yourself, and furthur limit the topics that you could discuss.
I still think the best answer is to, instead of changing all of the rules, make an 18+ forum, or change the lounge into that.
