We plan improvements for these things. The flash games could be integrated into an own server. The events and tables organization can also be used on Graal servers to easily organize sparring and similar.

Personally, I like the games and stuff, even though it doesn't quite fit into Graal. But things change, but atleast make the GUI a bit nicer, at the moment it looks like one of these java/flash game pages

vvvvv Unixmad: It's not the general construction of the GUI, I like that, but, as Skyld already mentioned, it's the edgy, glowy and plastik design. The server list (red) looks really nice, I think, but I don't think the blue and red fit together that well, although that could just be me. For example, I liked the old red and green GUI, maybe even the blue one, those didn't have too many graphics, which I think, are a bit excessively used here.

It would be cool to bet on global sparring events. Plus, with Java, we can have one uniform server and style for sparring all the time.

I don't understand what you don't like in the actual GUI, have you some example of some GUI you like ?

I think what fry means is just the plasticy blue. It would probably be nicer with finer edges like previous blue GUI components had.

Maybe an optino where it searches your gui files or maybe a gui text like.

guiprofiles=blue,blue2

etc.., then you have a dropdown list of all the guiprofiles listed in that. So you can make your own guis and simply add it to that and select it in dropdown. Just a thought ;D

Yeah, the GUI could definitely use a touch-up. The all-blue color scheme was nice, and really professional looking the new GUI is kind of a step back, graphics-wise.

question... tried loading it now i get this

cannot find msvcr80.dll

everytime I tried running the program or try to reinstall after uninstalling

edit: The file is on my computer... I checked its there and in the correct place...

Someone has brought it to my attention that now you cannot access the other tabs such as updates and whatnot. Those tabs really need to be brought back, or else people can't reinstall copies of graaleditor and stuff like that.

Dunno if this has been mentioned yet or not, but it should be.

I can no longer play Graal due to teh update =] i get the

Exception EAccessViolation in module Graal4.exe at 000ACAF4.
Access violation as address 004ACAF4 in module 'Graal4.exe'. Read of address
00000024.

I do agree that the new menu looks childish. I sort of like the games though. It's a good idea to attract osme people to Graal.

I just hope that when G3D is released (I'm sure you've done a great job with it) that it attracts some new people who like the whole 3D enviorment (sp..) and doesn't take away a good portion of the 2D players. The 2D isn't fun without a community.

Hey dude who got the same error message as me, delete every single trace of your graal things then re-install from the site it just worked for me

I have a suggestion.
Make graal work for 64bit processors. I've heard it can, but it doesn't work with my friends computer. It has an AMD Athalon 64bit processor, and graal just doesn't work for him.

Graphically this has to be the most hideous thing Ive seen as a log on screen ever in my 6 years of graal. Even Graal3 look better than this. You need a better graphical designer noob.

2nd Flash games...Maybe change this game for ages from 10 and up cause if your going flash games now Im sure my lil sister would start to love this game...except Im sure my parents wouldnt pay for she to play it lol when there are free flash games.(Currently the graalonline agreement document about rules ask if your alteast 13 years of age FYI) Though some people around my age of 16 like flash games youll find more kids around 10-13.

3rd: I wanna see some pics of graal3d and its so called new graphical improvements. Maybe it wont suck.

4th: We ever gonna get any good updates on these 2d servers?
