100% Reset.

And try to make it not just a popularity contest.

As for giving gangs meaning, i'll have to refer back to the old system where points were gained while inside an enemy base; in my personal opinion that was the funnest time of Era. (It was still ****ed up but it was fun)

And I very much agree with

Fourth, if there is a reset, don't give the same old people their gangs and businesses. A reset is a reset and it is only fair if they are reset just like everyone else.

The best was back when Era Mafia existed and all the gang houses were on the same land. So many little wars, raids, etc.

SkyID, my hours of gym training have not affected the economy in any way, shape or form. Will I be allowed to keep 75 hours worth of effort in the form of gym levels or character stat boosts?

I'm not sure about that yet; that'll be decided later.

If they reset and people can only keep one gun, that'll help to all those people with 2+ gang guns.

Sorry, Skyld

Let me just state here and now that I would never have even STARTED working on that **** at the gym if I had any inkling that within 3 months all of my effort would be for naught.

I am extremely upset with you Skyld. I have worked my ass off for my items, and this is what you do? The majority of people here that want a reset are people who were already reset for being an idiot.

I'm really not liking this, Skyld. It's unfair how you're doing it at the upmost extent.

Hey Sklyd, you made a poll on the offical forums, non of the old players's votes even really count.
All you people complaining about "omg /cry make era a non-popularity contest /cry!", how about you play era for more than 2 months before you talk? People who have been here for years, people who worked up their rep and made it into power, why don't you think about us? All you're getting in this poll are the players who have played era for a few months, mabye weeks, and are behind. Man, I bet only 25% of them will still be playing after the reset anyway. But don't worry about the massive loss of players who have stuck through with Era, who leave after this reset. Only the newer players matter now, right? The players that will just cry 4 months after the reset about how so and so has a SG552 and they want one too, or how this one girl has a katana and it's too rigged, those players are the only people that matter now, right?
Seriously, why can't we have it the way players want it? We are the ones paying/playing the damn game.. Ok, so you globals get it the way you want it? Is that all that matters? You guys are adding so many fancy npcs and systems that NONE OF THE PLAYERS WANT! I mean really, if we HAVE to reset, why can't we just strip Era down to what it use to be back in Chrisz's Era. The players LOVED it! Why can't we get a real say in this? The real players, the OLD players? The people who have stuck to era through all this garbage, can't we get a break?

This post is related to the reset in question, thank you.

Not all of Era's population has gold / VIP.

Take that into consideration, bub.

This is a post from J, he is not gold so I am posting it for him.
I feel that Era does not so much need to reset but bring new things in piece
by piece. The most important thing is the staff members. The staff for the
majority are awful. They don't listen to suggestions or warp to you when
needed for hackers/abuse of certain things. I feel that Era should have new staff
temporarily to see how it goes and if it doesn't go well, then reset should occur.

Another one who has neglected to read the thread! This is a poll for players opinions.

There is a lot more scamming going on than items being dropped, although that does happen often..The biggest scams were when someone with a lot of recognition (Nub) trick people into giving LARGE amounts of money. This brings us back to what I said. More staff. Most of the people who donated to him were a little hesitant and had questions, there were no staff to answer them...

The member limit: Sounds like a good idea, it would make it "fair", which is what everyone is crying about...fairness, but reality is that one gang is going to have more people than another. I can't see a gang saying, "Sorry we've reached our limit" in real life...

Improve the gang bases! They've looked the same for how long now?

A status board and rewards would definitly make people want to raid, but you should add something cool too..
Maybe each gang should have its own NPC that sits outside talking smack to everyone. When another gang raids them successfully, the NPC should start talking smack about its own base..In order to fix it, the gang would have to get its base back. If an NPC is sitting outside saying, "LC sucks! Don't bother raiding them, it is too easy" (no offense) I'm sure LC would want their base back...
Just a random idea..
