New Items

Basically after looking at another thread and seeing a website that Bjorn posted i noticed a lot of items that have the potential for being good things but are not on here. Apperently they were "not allowed". Problem with that? Yes. Why not just allow people to make new items, submit them and send them in for people to judge then have REASONABLE stats put on them so that new items get into the game, events become fun once again and people have a reason to come back on and play. Staff wont have to make the graphics if you have people willing to help.

New clothes
New armor
New weapons
New helms
New shields

Everything.

It is allowed and there is nothing against to say it. It's welcome but people do NOT make reasonable stats. Then staff put reasonable stats on and the people who made the gfx go crazy about it.

Another problem is this "I made the graphic I want a free one with super high stats." (A bit dramatic but it might make it more clear).

Make a disclaimer
just like other servers. once the graphics are submitted they have no choice in the stats that is left to staff. if they want a reward for creating it, give them something small like some diamonds or something. just a small thank you or get people that wont ask for anything in return someone that wants to help. im just tired of seeing the same items with nothing new

id gladly help get things moving at no charge
im bored on here now
theres nothing new that makes me want to log on and stay all day

even if they made items that look like event items like the warhammer but with just dammage on and you can change the color depeneding on what you craft it with, id enjoy that
make them hard to craft so it takes a while to earn them

just find a few people that will work for no charge to make graphics, ill bet you there are people that will. i would

Donald Shimoda made the Shield of the Moon graphics. I presented it to you with different stats than what it has now. Most would say it's overpowered compared to what it was suggested as. But that's besides the point... Donald didn't whine, he was just happy his GFX were finally being used for what it was intended for, GK.

So if Draxx got a team together and made all the kingdom items for the new kingdom/item system. all you would have to do is make all the items of the same equipment have the same stats. put whatever you want on them. We just want custom looks for kingdoms. he has been

example:
Samurai helm, Dustari helm, Zormite helm, CP helm, and Forest helm all have same stats, same with shields, boots, armour, ect.

that would solve the problem of stats on those items.

I will be working on the stuff for Samurai, and the same stats would be a problem, due to no variety. They would need to be balanced out instead.

I was actually planning on doing PMoP sprites to match. It's all supposed to be coordinated so that stuff like the might hammer / infernos / other stuff geared toward strength would match.

New items need to be released. With the current set of items we have around now, there are VERY few item options in order to obtain an optimal equipment set.
How does this get solved?
-Release new items.
-Make all of these items have a humane way of obtaining them. No 50+ event coin bullsh*t when it is only given out in events 10% of the time.
-Don't half-ass the stats. A lot of items aren't used because the stats on them just plain suck.
-If the goal of the administration is to try to make everybody even and make items suck more, reset and don't use the crossfire system.

Well seeing as brutal maps are supposed to the hardest. (I think) They should at least have a challenge for all players. Make draenin, tempist and bosh NPC's and shove them in there somewhere.

i think there should be a level thats only open to certian levels so you have to earn your way into it and its full of things that just beat your ass until your dead
event he level 110's die fast in their level of it.

every 10 levels you get to move into a new area
but never get to backtrack so the level 110's wont be fighting with the level 10's

Eww...that adds an element of "Needing to be at a lower level" which just sucks D:
You wanna punish people for leveling up?

learn to read

nobody is beng punished but theyre being rewarded.
the more you level
the higher level monsters you get to fight
so how you got the "need to be a lower level" out of that i dont know
but youre 100% completly wrong on that.

read it agian

I believe it's good to have a few varied stats. For example, some have con+, some str+ etc.. atleast this way people would be able to max their stats. But I don't think there should be shields like +3 str and then a shield with +1 str especially kingdom shields

Devotchkas, you've probably never done a hard days work in your life. Remember this is a GAME, life does not revolve around this 2D game. Maybe you should stop complaining about what work people are doing, you should be happy and praise someone when they finish some updates in the game instead of immediatley saying "this is crap, you suck!"

Remember, the GK staff are volunteering to do this job. They have lives aswell which come before this game. Before you have a major kiddy strop, try to think about how you could help develop this game instead of criticising work that someone else has done. For example Bjorn and Sam

Don't get me wrong, I care about this game. I enjoy it and appreciate all the many hours of hard work people have put into this game, such as you being a kingdom leader and developing the kingdom to help the players enjoy the game more. I'm just saying that people should stop nagging and think on the positive side of life for a change.

Much worse things happen every day then a staff slacking off
