Rate my levels

I 've played graal for a few years, but i quit about a year ago and I just came back. I use to be a pretty good LAT I think. I want to get back into it. Here is a level I just made. Rate it please and tell me what needs to be done, I will take constructive critism. Please ignore some parts that have a little green in them. I know you guys have ways of getting rid of that little green on the houses, but I dont have the .gifs or whatever you all use.

Those "little greens" aren't graphics, they are on the tileset. Look all the way to the right.

The levels needs detail. Lots of it and god ones. Clump more trees together.

Keep trying, use those tiles under the house.

If I learn how to paint, will I be a rich painter?
It's hard to say, I've been leveling for a while (5 yeaars or more?)and I'm jstill learning, hell right now I'm working on a program to detail levels (so I don't have to so much XD). Anyway, I guess with practice, anything is possible. Just make sure you use all the grass tiles you can, and don't 'spam' them (copy a selection, paste, and right click...no). So, keep at it, maybe one day you'll be a great leveler

It's a good outline for a level, all of us started LATing around there; some of us worse than that.
The point is that it's a great level to build upon. There are lots of things that could be done.
I'll start with positives because I wont lie, there are few of them.

Sand Tiles:
You've shown you know how to use the sand/grass tiles fairly well, you've left out a few corner tiles in some of the places which creates that little green box that cuts into the side of the upper left and right corner tile.
(If you still don't see what I mean, ask me about it and i'll show you.)
How to Improve:
Expand it maybe, be practical. Use it in areas where there would be people walking.
For this you can often apply something such as a cliff, then you can attach these sand tiles to the sides of cliffs which really perks up your design.

Grass/Grass Tiles:
Once again you've shown you know how to use these tiles, but once again they aren't used really practically. There are no tile errors on the usage of these tiles so far.
How to Improve:
Make it look more random, it looks kind of like you just rushed it out to the side and it's kind of boxy and square, grass like that would probably be forming right around the trees in really random designs. A good use of these tiles can really improve the quality of your level.

Trees:
You've shown you know how to connect the trees side-by-side, but you have not shown that you can connect them diagonally.
There are tiles right on the left side of the tileset that can be used to connect the trees that way.
If you need help with Tree Connections, consult tree tutorials which can be found all over these forums.
How to Improve:
A good use of trees is possibly the most popular, and most effective way of creating a successful, nice looking level.
Too many trees can make the level look crowded, and too little makes it look bare and underdetailed.
This level looks underdetailed.
With a good organisation of these trees (Such as in the corners of the levels or extending inside from one of the sides, this level could start to shape up.)

House:
I won't lie, this is a fugly house.
How to Improve:
The best thing I can say is look around on servers that use the same kind of style you like and look at the way they do things. Then you can take something you like about the house, and expand on it to make your own creation. Whenever I hear complaints about levels it's often about grass detail (See below), and the way the houses look. They often look unprofessional and the poles are used the wrong way. (Like on your house).
You have the pole extending from the grass all the way to the top of the house, which makes it look out of proportion.

Grass:
Grass is one of the most difficult things to make work. To everyone, grass detailing is the most argued subject on these forums. Some people like some detail, while others like other detail.
Some like crazy overdetail, with barely any open spaces of grass, while some like little clumps of grass here and there with more open spaces of grass. The best thing I can say here is to go find a level that you like, and see how they did the grass, study it, then go to your level and try to recreate what they did without looking back.
Sometimes you will find it looks bad, if this is the case, try something new, but other times you might find your own creation grass design.

So as I said, it's really a build-up kind of level, there are lots to improve upon, but you've given us (Or at least, me), enough to help you.

Hope this post helps you in some way. o_o;

Edit:
Also, the corners without the little green thing on the house corners that you've used can be found way way way way way on the right side of the tileset.
Have a look!

I was thinking the same as Lord Sephiroth when he said that you know how to use certaint tiles.

I don't really like the level, but you know how to use the tiles, so I think you will be fine in getting better. Try making an actual path with the sand, looks like you got lazy. There is a large area on your house that looks really plain too. :P

I admit, It didnt take me long to do that at all, so it was kinda "lazy", But after i got to that point I felt I showed what my talent was and I wanted to post and see what you guys said. I am going on vacaton tomarrow for 5 days. I will definatly practice alot when I get back home. Seph you were alot of help, I appriciate it. I think I have the ability to make good levels once I figure out the rest of the tileset. First thing I will do is figure out those damn trees. Cliffs are also another thing to work on. I can make some pretty nice dirt roads like that, they are just boring to make and take forever sometimes!
