at least one thing is still true:

your server should have one popular hangout place that the general populus will hang out around. Make a few hang out places and see which one becomes more popular.

I lost like 75% of all my pictures over the years, sucks really bad to lose them.

First is Xone. One of my earlier Graal friends.

Second is Knux back in Xone ;P

Third is Mithica :O

Fourth one is Warcaptain testing some ET things, I was ETA at the time.

Fifth one is Enigma. Why can't our Q-menu's be packed like that anymore? :/

Ok so we have gs2. So learn it and move away form pleasing other people, and move on to making something that you can play and its fun and challenging and original (or as original as you can be without blatantly copying someone else)

Honestly people, play DR, thw q menu WAS packed (still is) I'm working on changing it. Want to know something? Everytime someone (like me) tries to bring back some of that old graal charm, it's somehow lost. I plan to make DR as clasic as I can, hangouts, bars, boomerangs and hookshots. DR will be what servers should be. And stop saying I talk about it too often, I have to, because it seems to be the only way It's taken seriously. We're very understaffed and yet it's shaping up really beautifully. When I'm done, expect to see a clasic world, with new tiles, new details, more weapons, skills, and features. Clasic with a new rpg flair. I hope you enjoy it, it's what you've been asking for.

We're working on an overworld with better levels, more clasic themed quests, and much better detail. (For example, moving waves, a better tileset, more unique gfx). It's going to be a clasic server in disguise as a modern server

First one, Enigma got hax0red and everyone got thrown into jail somehow. :[

Second one is Enigma's halloween party @ Oct 2001. Warcaptain is that Princess Peach girl.

Third one is my oldskool friend Todo, lawl. Sean is also there.

Fourth one is Enigma's DJ room. Oh look! It's Binary Crash! Lexies there and some other dude. :]

Last one is DS (Darkstar I think it stood for?). One of the first guilds I was part of.

Graal2k sucked in comparison to Graal3k. Graal3k had tons of quests and class npcs to play around with. Also people would 'hack' level 3-4 swords and level 3 shields constantly.

I don't need to make a server, we (all the people complaining about the lack of one) need to make a server! Everyone says it over and over, that there is no good playerworld, yet everyone continues to spread out over loads of different projects which isn't going to get us anywhere fast

I loved seeing Enigma Graal again.. I would gladly attempt to revive Enigma if I knew people would actually play it.

But I do not know if that is possible... plus I am not sure I have time to manage it like I did before... and as we all know no one can manage it like me.

I remember before when there would be some free servers and some p2p servers, somehow Warcaptain randomly messaged me on AIM (I'd only briefly heard of him and didn't know how he got my SN) because he wanted me to join some levels team on a p2p server he was making. I said I would never consider working on a pay server and he told me it felt like a kick in the _____, where _____ would be a word that rhymes with walls that Moonie would censor either way.

Now they wobble a little bit and float up into the air :-D

I loved the instruments, and there were a lot of them.. guitar, flute, trumpet and probably more that I can think of.

But the best was wings and radio.. that is what we were famous for. But its funny now because everyone has those things. And Stefan said something along the lines of, "I like the creativity of UN to have wings" and I wanted to scream.. x-x

I need to re-release Enigma just so I can set the record straight :-P

I remember wings being on Enigma Graal, but never had them. Bloo Kat made some cool wings for Unholy Nation; though, they are shields, not items that can be collected. I remember Stefan wanted to add something like wings to Kingdoms as well, but not sure.
