Level Petition

This is a petition to try and get the level caps on both skills and base removed/changed.

I think that a more reasonable cap would be like:

Base level : 120
Skill level : 110

This would alow 1 more slot to be handled as well as + 13 armour to be used. Not like the extra armour would help because people can break insainly high ac.

If you agree to this than post below.

Because that would make alot of sence but seems as peopel have ungodly amounts of exp why not 999 ? That would make people happy !!

except through mental, there's no way you could possibly get to 110 anyways. it would just take too bloody long. that's way more grinding than anyone could handle.

now if there were new monsters and such in the game, then things might be a bit different.

edit: first post in the 8 months since i moved

Use level 107 scrolls to level mental. Or do it the same way people 107 there wisdom. Find someone to party with

there's no way you could get to lv 107 physical just by grinding... it would take you waay too long.

Well caps are usually put in as a form of control or balance BUUT, If you guys really want to, well then go crazy, It sounds kinda oakyish, just when newbs or people like me who are struggling to separate themselves from that title, might be put even more to shame than the fact that they're just newbs as is, so yeah, if we do, start a graal depends line or pampers, and maybe set-up a cataclysmic counseling center for newbs xD

Stats are out of control the way it is, we don't need to make people even stronger.

It is not to make people stronger take a look at this.

a person gets 1 wc every level from what I am hearing. So phy 107 = 107 wc righ there.

You can get 26 slots and have each one an EW and have it blessed Ogma + 11 or Gov + 11. Thats 37 right there.

Lets add that up soo far. 37 + 107 = 142. Ok thats not even the all of it. Marks + 12 means another 13 or so. I forgot if its wc + 1 or + 2.. THATS 155 WC...

Now calculate the max ac and your toast. Not to mention what RoW's and such can do.. We need stronger armour which increasing the cap balances out power because then people get higher ac. My ac is around -72 with luckies +1. So see how I am at less then 50% there?

Bug abuse? Thats not bus abuse from what staff have told me. A few staf fsaid thats perfectly legall. If it is truly not, then "opps", nevermind what I said. Because I wont tell anyone how to do it.

Staff are hypocrites if they don't consider use of the current partying exploit bug abuse, since they considered use of a virtually identical exploit (partying with players who had a low total level before the level restriction on parties was introduced) to be bug abuse.

You are absolutly correct but I am only basing my thoughts off what staff tell me. =/

Also, stealing items form players of fthe ground is legal, but if oy udo it you will be banned. WTF is up with that? Back when I got ripped I scammed moonie 100 diamonds as a test of my theory. I just "picked" up items that belonged to him somewhat but were in ym posession. She I got banned. Staff are hypocrits =/

That would be bad.. then people with 107 could bless all gods to max blessings without pennalty.

Fro could then bless all gods +max.. See what I mean. He would make a KILLING doing that probably.

The only reason I stick with Ogma is so that one day I can shut down his conshop and start charing 10 diamonds where he charged 100.

Replace Wis exp loss with a guaranteed switch where you lose one nat wisdom.

Adjust exp gotten from party partners based on level.

Assign exp gotten from party partners to the same category as the person who killed the monster got it in (i.e. No converting wis exp to phys exp.)

There's a lot of ways to fix it.

ok Well, I did not know that but a 120 WC can Break a 120 AC.. =/

Stefan, uncap these things or raise the cap dammit.

And can people spread the form. Maybe it will get something actually DONE about this situation =/

Yes... the best players can break the best AC?

Its a fine system right now. Lower levels use spots for EWs while reducing damage.

Or you can level and use the spots for IWDs

There is a lot wrong with GK, but this system is not one of the things.

This would be going in the complete wrong direction. We should be looking to lower the WC and AC, not raise them.

WC and AC suck. You should be guaranteed a hit when you hit someone. And when you get hit you should get hit away from the guy hitting you and flash and be invincible for a short time like on other servers.

Hahahaha, what a stupid suggestion this would never be implemented, and don't listen to Sam he hasn't even been around that long and has recently relreased old ilegal items that he didn't even know were illegal and used to be deleted from peoples accounts....he doesnt see bugs he just sees game mechanics..

Well. ok the current system is alright but alot of 110 people think... bleh why play im alweady maxed out.. maybe if they made it extended more of the 110's would keey playing. Stefan might or might not make a little money off it but it would definately make the game more enjoyable for those higher levels.. =/

Being level 110 in EXP doesn't mean highest level in all skills. I think its not the main reason for players get sick of playing. I would also like to see to get the level max a little bit higher. But first of all the treasure map glitch needs to be fixed.

That would require a reset. It wouldn't be fair for those that abused the glitch to benefit from it while others are unable to.

A reset would be deadly for the server. Fairness after removing the bug can be achieved simply by making level matter less.

I dont think so, there are only a few ppl gained this high level by that. I am sure there is a way to fix those.
I would never agree a reset, too much time and work that I spend to get my level.

You're kidding right? Please. Everyone and their mother has used that glitch at one point or another with the exception of a few. If you want true balance then a reset is the only option. Tough **** if you gained your level legitimately. Blame it on the people that were too lazy to level the correct way.

If you remove the glitch then those that used it will be the only ones to benefit. You're allowing them to benefit from such high levels to have power. That includes armor enchantments, scroll writing, etc. You can't just reduce suspected person's exp and be done with it. They'll still benefit from the exploitation.
