Smile Kingdom Mines

I think it's high time something was added to the kingdoms islands to make them a little more practical. The yarn quests were a good start, but they're a one or two time deal. i think a very very nice addition would be KINGDOM MINES!!

people would definately make use of kingdom mines if they were looking to build houses! a newbie who doesn't know how many nails he needs could find himself moving from main to their kingdom a number of times, just to make little additions to their house-in-progress.

every kingdom has a mountain that could be used. to get rid of the cheapos who use auto miners, maybe make the mines a little dangerous and put in some monsters (bats? ghosts? skeles?) . maybe even to spice it up each kingdom could have a specific gem that appears about as often as the diamonds in the main mines. forest = emerald, zormite= sapph, samurai = ruby, etc...

and if you wanted to get a little more complex with it, the gems could appear more frequently, the deeper you get in the mine. however, the monsters get harder the deeper you go as well... needless to say the "leet" players would be in heaven if they could sit back, mine valuable gems, AND gain all sorts of experience... easy fix... the monsters in the mines would give maybe 1 or 2 exp per kill. = ]

hope it gets considered...

I definitely agree with this idea. Being able to mine on the same island as your house is great. I also think it would be good to have more to do on Kingdom Islands anyway, I don't seem to spend much time on any of them.

maybe even change the yarn quests to require a part from a monster deep in the kingdom's mine

This has been suggested many times before, and it has been rejected every single one of those times

Like Garglius said, this suggestion was made several times in the past. Let me quote Stefan to answer it:

But things that are really meant to be separated can be done on kingdom islands too, like the treasure maps, quests, farming.
Better think about NEW things, preferable related to the specific kingdom (e. g. making rum on Crescent Pirates) instead of adding existing things from main island to the kingdoms, just because it saves the trouble of walking to main island.

Yup yup, I spent a couple hours in the stone mine yesterday I dont mind. The only reason people want kingdom mines is to be lazy. After kingdom mines people will want to be able to get iceboxes made on kingdom isles...

but how many people want to go all the way to crescent, just to make rum?? i can understand not wanting to copy everything over, but the kingdom islands are so empty that it's pointless to go to them, with the exception of picking up or dropping something off at your house. i really think that populating the islands somehow would be a really good idea.

Agreed! The rum was only an example. Find something interesting that earn the chance to get added.

Kingdom isles all have something small at least.

Each has a pub to return the icebox to.

Zormite has the guy in kurol. Who is part of the artifact trade and escort for the gizmo cover. Not to mention the only place for Newpapers.

Dustari had the guy in Torub, also and artifact trade person.

Crescent Pirates has Rum heh, The eccentric Pitros Allen Gizmo cover escort and the Cuckoo person.

Samurai has cheap booze, and the Lady in Samsuro tailor shop.

Forest has the guy by the market who trades carvings for doohickeys.

Not to mention kingdom specific furniture, weapons, armour, and cloak witches, and wizards.
